Pray! Pray for the blessing of this cushion! Saying this and bestowing blessings, the Lama, with immeasurable compassion, dissolves into light and merges from the crown of the disciple's head, causing the three doors to merge inseparably with the three vajras. By releasing awareness and allowing it to rest, a surge of blessings arises. Appearances merge with the Lama. Conceptual thoughts arise as devotion. The radiance of awareness shines brightly with devotion. Habitual clinging arises openly and freely, thus devotion is liberated into self-awareness. Self-awareness is liberated into the realm of unborn, primordial purity, which is called (liberation). Moreover, in the tantra of establishing vows, it is said: A deity with marks and signs, is surpassed by meditating for hundreds of thousands of eons, a moment's remembrance of the Lama is supreme. Surpassing millions of recitations and practices, one supplication to the Lama is supreme. Also, as stated in Ati Establishment: That Lama endowed with kindness, on the crown of the head or in the center of the heart, or whichever is meditated upon in the palms of the limbs, even the accomplishments of a thousand Buddhas, that person will also attain. As it is said, the realization of the unaltered natural state arises in the continuum, relying solely on devotion to the Lama, and cannot be realized by any other means. Generating joy by directly introducing self-recognition. Second, generating joy by directly introducing self-recognition: O! All of you, leave this present awareness as it is, without manipulation or contraction. Do not establish existence or non-existence, or partiality in it. Do not differentiate between appearance and emptiness. Do not establish the characteristics of permanence or annihilation. Abide naturally in this very state, without needing to strive with the efforts of view and meditation, like untying a knot. This is the great effortless, primordial liberation, the uncreated self-illumination, the wisdom unmade by conceptual thought, the nature of reality undefiled by view and meditation, the samadhi in which there is no abiding, the post-meditation without calculation. Clarity without inherent existence, vastness without falling into extremes. Such is the state of inherent, natural abiding, with which all sentient beings have never been separated for even a moment. However, just as water that is naturally flowing is bound by ice, the mind grasping inwardly as the cause, and the object grasped outwardly as the condition, thus wandering endlessly in samsara. Now, through the Lama's instructions, merely recognizing the flaw of a moment of awareness, one can recognize the original face of

Merely resting the mind in a state of non-modification and non-distraction is the thorough revelation of the essence of the intention of the primordial Buddha Samantabhadra. As stated in the "Six Spaces": "In the mind-nature without permanence or annihilation, the appearance without good or bad is, the intention without acceptance or rejection, Samantabhadra, I have said. In the mind-nature without acceptance or rejection, the appearance of impartial self-liberation is, the intention of vast expanse, Samantabhadra, I have said. In the mind-nature without sinking or excitement, the intention of great equanimity is, the intention of the six aggregates relaxed, Samantabhadra, I have said. In the mind-nature without fear, the appearance without hope or dread is, the intention of original abiding with confidence, Samantabhadra, I have said." Furthermore, as stated in the "Heap of Jewels": "This Dharma-nature without a root, not sought, but abiding, is truly wonderful. On the awareness that goes and comes, without end, is truly wonderful. On the wisdom of the great primordial state, without antidote, is truly wonderful." Furthermore, as stated in the "All-Creating King": "The Buddhas of the past who have passed away, never sought Dharma outside their own minds. They never altered the nature of suchness, never meditated on conceptual samadhi. Self-mind is accomplished by non-conceptuality. Those who abide now and those who will come in the future will also be accomplished by non-conceptuality and equality." Therefore, recognizing that the nature of mind is inherently great self-liberation from the beginning is awareness. Maintaining this continuity is faster than other paths to forced Buddhahood, so rejoice! Thus, joy is generated. Clearing Doubts and Liberating Obstacles. Third, clearing doubts and liberating obstacles: When continuously maintaining the great state of natural abiding, if one thinks that the nature of awareness is emptiness, then the mind that thinks of emptiness is the one that clings, and Dharma with clinging cannot attain Buddhahood. Therefore, one must abandon the obstacle of clinging to emptiness, which is a great liberation. And, if one confidently asserts that the way of abiding of the nature that transcends extremes such as existence and non-existence is like this, then this is a formidable obstacle of self-nature bound by fixed notions. As stated in the "Lion's Perfect Strength Tantra": "By meditating on contemplation, the meaning of Dharma-nature is not seen, self-appearing
