It is not possible. Generating joy through direct introduction to one's own nature. Secondly, generating joy through direct introduction to one's own nature is: O! Leave your current awareness as it is, without modification or manipulation. In it, existence and non-existence, and partiality are not established. The distinction between appearance and emptiness is not made. The characteristics of permanence and annihilation are not established. Remaining naturally in this very state is superior to striving with the effort of view and meditation, like untying a knot. The great primordial liberation without contrivance. Self-illumination without mental fabrication. Wisdom without artificiality of conceptual thought. Dharmata without the adulteration of view and meditation. Samadhi in which there is nothing to settle. Post-attainment without calculation. Clarity without inherent existence. Vastness without being lost in distraction. Such a state of primordial, natural abiding intention, and all sentient beings have never been separated from it for even a moment, yet it exists. Just as water, which is naturally free-flowing, is bound by ice, likewise, the mind grasping inwardly is the cause, and the objects grasped outwardly are the condition, thus wandering endlessly in samsara. Now, through the guru's instruction, from merely recognizing the momentary flaw of awareness, without modifying, being distracted, or meditating on the nature of things, simply abiding in that state, this alone is the clear and complete revelation of the essence of the intention of the primordial Buddha Samantabhadra. As it says in the Sixth Space: "In the mind-essence without permanence or annihilation, The appearance free from good and bad, The intention free from acceptance and rejection, Thus, Samantabhadra, I have shown." "In the mind-essence without acceptance or rejection, The appearance of self-liberation without bias, The intention of great pervasiveness, Thus, Samantabhadra, I have shown." "In the mind-essence without sinking or excitement, The intention of great equanimity, The intention of the six aggregates being relaxed, Thus, Samantabhadra, I have shown." "In the mind-essence without fear, The appearance free from hope and dread, The intention of primordial abiding, full of confidence, Thus, Samantabhadra, I have shown." Furthermore, as it says in the Heap of Jewels: "This dharmata without a basis, It is most wondrous to leave it unfabricated. In the awareness that goes and comes, It is most wondrous that there is no end. In the primordial, great abiding wisdom, It is most wondrous that there is no antidote." Moreover, as it says in the All-Creating King: "Even the Buddhas of the past, Did not seek the Dharma outside their own minds, Apart from the nature of things as they are,"
