Gyurme Dorje explained two ways: introducing the state of meditation that abides in its own place, and introducing the play of self-radiant wisdom. Therefore, it should be done in the same way here as well. First, introducing the state of meditation: As it is said in the 'Precious Garland': 'From the nature of the three placements, the meaning of primordial purity will be manifested.' Therefore, the body in vajra posture, remaining still in equipoise, is the placement like a mountain. The eyes fixed straight ahead about an arrow's distance, unmoving, is the placement like an ocean. Leaving the knowing uncorrected, fresh, and natural, abiding effortlessly in the innate state of dharma-nature, is the placement of awareness. Therefore, allow it to remain still in that way. O fortunate ones, now look at this self-luminous, naked awareness without distraction! The stainless, pure Buddha is the unchanging self-aware dharmakaya. Sa le seng nge wal le ba. Like the cloudless autumn sky. Remain unmoving and stable like a mountain. Remain unwavering and clear like an ocean. Remain vast and without limitations like the sky. Whatever the state, let it be the state of awareness. Whatever arises, let it be the radiance of awareness. Let the arising and abiding be the clear and lucid self-awareness. Just as birds fly anywhere, they do not go beyond the sky, likewise, abide in the state of awareness. Let all phenomena be self-luminous and unmoving. After saying this, by abandoning the mind into space with the sound "PHAṬ" (藏文,梵文天城体:फट,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:啪), the previous state of non-thought disappears. However, a feeling of arising thoughts, and a knowing that is free from grasping at them, self-luminous and vast, appears like an open space. This is the meditation of awareness abiding in its own place. Therefore, recognize this and transform the knowing. Whether good or bad thoughts arise, always look directly at the state of self-awareness and self-nature, and the meditation of non-grasping and self-abiding will arise nakedly and clearly. This alone is the effortless and spontaneously accomplished meditation, like the continuous flow of a river. Having introduced it in this way, and having gained some stability in it, by combining various activities with one's own experience, the meditation is mixed with activity, so that all actions, behaviors, thoughts, and concepts arise as the play of dharma-nature. In this way, there is no distinction between meditation and post-meditation, no interval between day and night, no attachment to what to accept or reject, and no consideration of the one who meditates and the object of meditation. Everything is repeated in the view of self-radiant awareness, the exhaustion of phenomena, and primordial purity.

Thus it is said. Likewise, in the Transcendence it is said: In the essence, the primordially pure wisdom, there is no such thing as ignorance. There is no such thing as numbers like one and two. There is not even the establishment of mere wisdom. Thus it is said. Introducing the play of self-radiant wisdom. Introducing abiding as the ornament of the mind. Secondly, introducing the play of self-radiant wisdom, divided into three: abiding as ornament, arising as play, and non-duality as equality. First, introducing abiding as the ornament of the mind: Without moving from the three doors placed together, abiding naturally and relaxed, in that state, the acceptance and rejection of good and evil, the cessation and establishment of the mind, and various thoughts, are left naturally and relaxed. Like the waves of a great ocean calming, clearing, and not moving, all the deluded appearances of the mind, the proliferation of thoughts, are completely pacified, and the co-emergent wisdom of clarity and emptiness, in the unmistaken primordial state, in the state of original purity, abides relaxed and loose, clear and bright. This is the meaning of Tögal, the very nature of mind. Moreover, the essence of mind, being free from all proliferation, is the Dharmakaya; its nature being clear and without clinging, is the Sambhogakaya; and the unceasing plan of compassion appearing in various ways is the Nirmanakaya. Thus, in such a state, the spontaneous accomplishment of the three Kayas indivisibly is the ornament of the mind. Thus it should be introduced. Furthermore, in Self-Arising it says: It transcends the extremes of permanence and annihilation. The stains of the four extremes are self-purified. And: Awareness without thought is the Dharmakaya. Unceasing, clear awareness is the Sambhogakaya. Awareness appearing as anything is the Nirmanakaya. And in the Transcendence it says: Wisdom abiding in its own place, is indivisible in the nature of the three. Thus it is said. Introducing arising as the play of the mind. Secondly, introducing arising as the play of the mind: Thus, in the state of mind being clear and non-conceptual, whatever thoughts arise from the unceasing power of manifestation, do not engage in welcoming or sending them off before or after. Do not alter the abiding. Do not suppress the arising. Do not establish the equality. Without suppression, establishment, acceptance, or rejection, whatever thoughts arise, in the state of their self-arising, naturally let them develop. Like the play of waves in the ocean not exceeding the state of the ocean, and pacifying and dissolving into the depths of the ocean, and like salt arising from water dissolving into water
