By extending oneself unremittingly in the state beyond conceptual thought, the realization of the nature of reality will increase and become more stable. This was said by the Great Treasure Revealer. Direct Introduction. Showing the method of transferring the blessing of the mind transmission. Third, to directly introduce the union of view and meditation like opening the eyes of a blind person, there are four: the method of transferring blessings, direct introduction, clearing doubts and dispelling obstacles, and blocking and sealing. First, the method of showing the transference of the blessing of the mind transmission: Arrange the feast offering according to ability. After offering the mandala, have the student sit in the immovable vajra posture. Visualize clearly as in the preliminary stage of the Guru Yoga practice. Generate certainty that the Guru himself has exhausted all faults, perfected all qualities, embodies all refuges, is the source of all siddhis, and is the sole guide. Generate trust and complete surrender, and devotion of 'You know what to do,' to the point of tears welling up. Then, accompanied by the ḍamaru and bell, chant in a voice that transforms appearances: Oṃ āḥ hūṃ. I supplicate the Dharmakāya Samantabhadra.

Please bless me right now! Please bless me quickly! Please bless me in this place! Please bless me on this seat! Saying thus and bestowing blessings, the Lama himself, with immeasurable compassion, dissolves into light and merges from the crown of the disciple, allowing the three doors to be inseparably mixed with the three vajras. Releasing awareness and allowing it to rest, the sound of blessings arises. Appearances merge with the Lama. Discursive thoughts arise as devotion. The radiance of awareness shines brightly as devotion. Habitual clinging arises openly without attachment, and devotion is liberated into self-awareness. Self-awareness is liberated into the realm of unborn, primordial purity. That is how it is. Furthermore, as it is said in the tantra of Samaya Establishment: 'Better to contemplate a deity with marks and signs for a hundred million kalpas than to remember the Lama for a single moment. Better to do millions of recitations and approaches than to pray to the Lama once.' And as it is said in the Ati Establishment: 'That Lama who possesses kindness, whether you meditate on him at the crown of the head, in the center of the heart, or in the palms of the limbs, even the accomplishments of a thousand Buddhas will be attained by that person.' As it is said, the realization of the uncorrected state arises in the continuum, relying solely on devotion to the Lama. Apart from that, it cannot be realized by any other means.

Having done so, one wanders in endless samsara. Now, merely by recognizing the instantaneous flaw of awareness through the guru's instructions, one rests in the state of suchness, without fabrication, without correction, without distraction, and without meditation. This alone is a clear exposition of the essence of the intention of the primordial Buddha Samantabhadra. As it says in the Sixth Sphere: "In the mind-essence that is neither permanent nor annihilated, the appearance that is free from good and evil is said to be the intention free from abandoning and adopting. I, Samantabhadra, have taught it. In the mind-essence that is without acceptance or rejection, the appearance that is impartial and self-liberated is said to be the intention of great pervasiveness. I, Samantabhadra, have taught it. In the mind-essence that is without sinking or excitement, the intention of great equanimity is said to be the intention of the six aggregates being at ease. I, Samantabhadra, have taught it. In the mind-essence that is without fear, the appearance that is free from hope and fear is said to be the intention of original abiding and confidence. I, Samantabhadra, have taught it." And as it says in the Heap of Jewels: "This nature of reality without a basis, resting without searching is most wondrous. In the awareness that goes and comes, being without end is most wondrous. In the primordial great wisdom that is originally present, being without an antidote is most wondrous." And as it says in The All-Creating King: "Even the Buddhas of the past did not seek the Dharma outside their own minds. They never corrected what is as it is. They never meditated on the conceptualizations of samadhi. It is accomplished by not conceptualizing one's own mind. Those who dwell now and those who will come in the future will also be accomplished by non-conceptual equality." Therefore, recognizing that the nature of mind is primordially present in great self-liberation is awareness. Because maintaining the continuity of this awareness allows one to forcefully attain Buddhahood, it is faster than other paths, so be joyful. This is arousing joy. Clearing Doubts and Liberating Obstacles Third, clearing doubts and liberating obstacles: When maintaining the continuity of the great self-abiding state of suchness in this way, if one thinks that the nature of that awareness is empty, then the one who labels it as empty is the mind, so there is an antidote. And because one cannot attain Buddhahood with a Dharma that has an antidote, one must abandon the obscuration of clinging to emptiness itself, which is great liberation from extremes. Furthermore, if one feels confident that the way of abiding of the nature that transcends extremes such as existence and non-existence is like this, then that is being bound by conceptual certainty.
