Like the three kinds of "letting go," without clinging to or manipulating the appearances of the six consciousnesses, like the ocean unmoved by waves, in this state, placing awareness purely and clearly, this is the meditation of "ocean letting go"; letting the three doors naturally relax, and maintaining the wisdom that emerges from the gaps of contemplation in a naked and direct manner, this is the instruction for conduct, "appearance letting go"; placing the five objects of sense and the five sense consciousnesses in their natural state, allowing self-luminous awareness to clearly arise, binding the five winds into space, and even the self-appearing pure light of smoke, mirages, rainbows, etc., in the outer world, appearing in accordance with common appearances, this is the fruition of "unfabricated awareness letting go," which is the view held by the Longchen Nyingtik yogis of space. As it says in "Lamp Illuminating Awareness": "Mountain letting go is the measure of view, ocean letting go is the measure of meditation, appearance letting go is the measure of conduct, awareness letting go is the measure of fruition, the yogi who possesses the four measures, merges into the ultimate meaning." Thus it is said. Conciseness. Third, because the nature is free from action, the method of concise conduct is that the three doors of body, speech, and mind naturally abide in the vast expanse of spontaneous, equal, and great space. The key point of the Great Perfection of Naturalness lies in the twelve great vajra laughs and the eight great vajra words that purify the eight collections of consciousness. The meaning established by these is that direct awareness transcends cause and effect, acceptance and rejection, and is carried on the path without change in the three times. However, for great yogis who have reached such a state as to be able to compete with masters such as Padmasambhava, Vimalamitra, and Tilopa, it can be directly taught that there is no cause and effect, good or evil. But for people like us, even if we understand it intellectually, we have not yet reached the corresponding habit. Therefore, it must be explained in conjunction with not being afraid of the nature and being cautious about even the smallest details of karmic consequences. As the omniscient father and son said, for those of lower intelligence, it is only possible to initially understand by explaining through the distinction of the two truths. Therefore, if one has understood the above-mentioned experiential reality, then by continuing to maintain this state, one will gradually gain stability. And for those dull-witted individuals who cannot cut through addition and subtraction, they still need to recognize whatever afflictive thoughts arise and leave them in their own place, so that the nature of the afflictions will become untraceable and completely eradicated.

Thinking of the transformations, upholding the intention of the pure abodes, diligently meditate and practice. For those with sharp faculties and great intelligence, with the key of self-liberation in the nature of reality, no matter what afflictive thoughts arise, their nature cannot be sustained, like a knot in a horse's tail that unties itself. Since enlightenment is immediate and without distinction, there is no need to subdue it again with antidotes, nor to cultivate it extensively like the Mind Series, nor to fix it in space like the Space Series, but to practice repeatedly in the self-existing experience of the Instruction Series, which is beyond object and thought. When one becomes accustomed to this, in the state where awareness is free from cultivation, all glories are spontaneously accomplished, and one is perfected in the essence of wisdom, so there is no need to diligently practice the ten bhumis of the bodhisattva and the generation and completion stages of outer and inner mantras, because the All-Creating King says: "Without transformation, without cultivation, awareness is spontaneously perfect." Like that. When taking the path into practice in this way, in general, what needs to be known in common is that one must first identify the obstacles to meditation, and then rely on antidotes to eliminate them. On this, the noble son Asanga said: "Laziness and instructions, forgetfulness, sinking and agitation, non-application and application, these are the five faults." Thus, he spoke of the obstacles. "And the eight applications that eliminate these obstacles, abiding and abiding in that, cause and effect themselves. Not forgetting the object, sinking and agitation and thoughts, and the manifest application that eliminates these, abiding peacefully when calm." Thus, he spoke of the antidotes. That is to say, when one is settled, if there are more thoughts than before, or if one is sometimes settled and sometimes not, or even if one is settled, there is a subtle mental activity deep down that cannot be eliminated, these three are all signs of beginning to settle. If one cannot stop the flow of thoughts, because one is endlessly distracted and exhausts one's strength, or if the flow is cut off by unforgetting mindfulness and awareness, and one grasps the self-nature of settling, then one rests in that state. As it is said: "Like a crow that flies up from a pond, circling and circling, it returns there again." Furthermore, if one is sinking, exhale stale air, straighten the body, raise the gaze, lift up awareness, and lift up the spirit, and one will become clear. If one is agitated, the bod
