Concerning the state of self-ground obscurations being extremely profound. From the 'Lion's Perfected Strength': 'By meditating on contemplation, the meaning of reality is not seen. Self-appearing samadhi is separate from the side of thought. The nature of reality, free from elaboration, is equal to the edge of the sky. There is no grasping or conceptualization in the realm of objects of focus. The Buddha, free from the four extremes, is self-knowing awareness. The Dharmakaya transcends the extremes of existence and non-existence.' And from 'The Great Garuda Soaring': 'Whatever effort is made without limit, is like a blind bird seeking the edge of the sky, it is not found. This meaning that is not found, once found, cannot be altered by anyone. This knowable, free from elaboration, cannot have an end.' Thus it is said. Likewise, regarding whatever arises as conceptual thoughts of good or non-good in the objects of the six senses such as visual forms, even if there is no deliberate grasping, merely blocking the appearance of objects with mental constructs such as emptiness's negation and non-affirmation, as in the Mind-Only school, one will not attain Buddhahood. If so, since appearance and the object of appearance are not distinguished, it is feared that it will become a contaminated Mind-Only true aspect. It is not so. Although it is unavoidable that the thought 'it is that' arises in the first moment of seeing something for ordinary beings, in the second moment, the power of mind and mental factors fully examines its nature, the previous conceptual thought naturally vanishes without a trace, and although the appearance of the object does not cease, by becoming accustomed to abiding in the nature of reality without grasping, arising and liberation are simultaneously purified, and the appearance and mind merge. This is the unmistaken path of the Great Perfection of inherent nature. As the 'All-Creating King' says: 'When the six senses perceive the six objects, seeing suffering, they try to stop the senses. Thus, the All-Creating is not understood, therefore there is no fruit of cessation and arising in that.' And as Rigdzin Garab Dorje said: 'At the time of arising, equal arising, there is no good or bad. At the time of liberation, equal liberation, there is no good or bad.' Thus it is said. Therefore, there is no need to rely on purification efforts involving the toil of accepting and rejecting the impurities of the elements, and it is far superior to the contaminated learning and practice bound by the narrow concepts of protection, meditation, study, and experience. The view of the King of the Natural Great Perfection, the single bindu beyond effort and thought, encompasses all aspects of the skillful means of the path of the perfections and the samadhi of wisdom, it is the supreme recollection of the All-Creating.

The king is the dharmata of wisdom, as it is said in the Sutra of Distinction and Inquiry: Non-grasping is generosity, non-abiding is discipline, non-guarding is patience, non-diligence is effort, non-thinking is meditation, non-objectifying is wisdom. Like that. Training the skill of practice on oneself. Mixing with circumstances. Fourth, from recognizing the meaning of the original purity of the dharmata, training the skill of practice on oneself involves three aspects: mixing with circumstances, placing in the womb, and the method of sealing off. First, training the skill by mixing with the circumstances of the three self-liberations, in the Meaning Instructions it says: The five poisons are introduced as self-liberation, the five gates are introduced as self-liberation, the six consciousnesses are introduced as self-liberation. Having become proficient in this way and reached the state of being truly at ease, thereby establishing the meaning of trekchö. Omniscient Longchenpa said: The five poisons, the five gates, and the six consciousnesses are the three self-liberations. Here too, similarly, first, the self-liberation of the five poisons is: Whatever arises of the five poisonous emotions that destroy lasting happiness and steal the life of liberation, without abandoning it, but placing it in the great state of self-liberation, thereby widely scattering into the five wisdoms of non-grasping. Likewise, whatever coarse or subtle thoughts arise from that, without negating or affirming, but placing it in the state of whatever appears, thereby it transforms into the self-liberation of original purity. The self-liberation of the six consciousnesses is: For the six objects of sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, and phenomena, whatever negation or affirmation arises through the six consciousnesses of the five gates and the mind, whatever appears, by relaxing it in its own state of great naturalness, it transforms into the great state of freedom from the ground of original emptiness. Omniscient Longchenpa said: In the three poisons, five gates, six consciousnesses, and all objects, whatever arises, rest in the natural state of ground liberation and primordial liberation, without distraction, without abiding, liberated in the nature of reality. The king without reliance, the ungrasping arises. Thus he said. Placing in the womb. Second, placing such a dharmata into the womb of the four modes of resting is: For the self-luminous awareness that has been introduced in such a way that it is free from thought and concept, without engaging in the grasping efforts of the mind or the antidote of deliberate meditation, but placing it in a vast, unchanging state, this is the view of resting like a mountain. The previously mentioned rest
