It is the ground. Moreover, the nature of mind, its essence is the Dharmakaya, free from all elaborations; its nature is clear and without grasping, it is the Sambhogakaya; compassion appears in various ways, the uninterrupted manifestation is the Nirmanakaya. In such a state, the three Kayas are naturally and spontaneously present without separation, which is the adornment of the mind's nature. This is how it should be introduced. Furthermore, in the 'Self-Arisen' it says: 'Beyond the extremes of permanence and annihilation, the stains of the four extremes are self-purified.' And: 'Awareness without conceptualization is the Dharmakaya; uninterrupted and clear awareness is the Sambhogakaya; awareness appearing in any way is the Nirmanakaya.' Also, in the 'Collection' it says: 'When wisdom abides in its own place, it is inseparable in the nature of the three.' Thus it is said. Introducing the arising as the play of mind. Secondly, introducing the arising as the play of mind: In such a state of mind that is clear and without conceptualization, whatever manifestation of capacity arises, do not engage in welcoming or sending off before and after. Do not modify what abides, do not suppress what arises, do not fabricate equanimity. Without suppression, establishment, acceptance, or rejection, whatever conceptual thoughts arise, allow them to remain naturally in their self-arisen state. Just as the play of waves in the ocean does not go beyond the state of the ocean and dissolves and merges into the vastness of the ocean; just as salt arises from water and dissolves into water; just as a snake's knot unravels without an antidote, so the collection of thoughts, the play of Dharmata, does not go beyond the state of Dharmata, and therefore dissolves and merges into the vastness of Dharmata, or, as soon as it arises, it is self-liberated in the vastness of the primordial purity of Dharmata without relying on an antidote. Furthermore, in the tantra of the 'Wondrous King' it says: 'Like the waves of the ocean, all the moving waves of the mind dissolve into the primordial, fundamental ocean.' Also, Saraha said: 'Just as salt dissolves into water, so does the mind dissolve into its own nature.' Also, in the 'Collection' it says: 'Just as the arising awareness is self-liberated like a snake's knot.' Thus and so on it is said. Introducing the state of non-duality and equality of arising and abiding. Thirdly, introducing the state of non-duality and equality of arising and abiding: In the state of mind's nature without conceptualization, whatever manifestation of capacity and collection of thoughts arises, without suppression, establishment, acceptance, or rejection, by letting it remain naturally, just as the ocean and the series of waves are inseparable, it does not waver in the state of Dharmata.
