it will be in vain. Moreover, if there is no discomfort in the posture of the body, speech remains silent like a mute, and the mind always abides on the object of focus, it is a sign that the three doors have mastered the essential points. Regarding the merits and demerits: In this way, the mind is not disturbed, focused on the dharmadhatu and grasping the essential points, temporarily one will directly see the wisdom of rigpa. Ultimately, one will attain complete enlightenment without residue in the vajra mind-space of the three kayas of the Buddha. As the tantra says: By grasping the essential point of the mind in this way, the three kayas, rigpa, appear as emptiness. It also says: When self-awareness is truly grasped, ultimately, it will be accomplished without residue. Again, in the same tantra it says: If this essential point of the mind is not grasped, the dharmadhatu and rigpa will not be seen. It also says: If there is no essential point of the mind in this way, one will turn away from the meaning of rigpa. Therefore, it is also said that apart from that essential point, the dharmadhatu and rigpa will not be seen, and because of seeing mistaken appearances, one will turn back again.

According to the root verses, there are four aspects: the manifesting gateway (eye), the manifesting realm (space), the manifestor, and the manifested object, which are wind and awareness. First, the key point of the manifesting gateway (eye) is as follows: In the Root Tantra, it says, "The gate is to see the three bodies with the eyes." And in the Tantra, it says, "The gate through which wisdom manifests is the eye. The key point of manifestation is to invert, lower, and press on the corner." And in the Aftermath, it says, "The key point of the gate is to invert, lower, and look with the corner." Like this, the way of seeing of the Dharmakaya is to guide upwards and look at the form of the crown of the head, so that the eye of Dharmata eliminates the obscurations of habitual tendencies. The Sambhogakaya is like a straight bamboo, guiding the corners to the left and right, so that the eye of wisdom mixes samsara and nirvana into one taste. The way of seeing of the Nirmanakaya is like a righteous person meditating, half-closing the eyes, and lowering them slightly by about a cubit from half of the vision, so that the eye of wisdom has the key point of directly seeing the appearance of wisdom. Moreover, it also symbolizes the special characteristic of transference of consciousness wisdom, from which the empty radiance of self-nature manifests from the central channel light channel, and the reasoning of the compassionate awareness radiance manifests from the pulmonary artery tube, therefore it is said that only regarding the ordinary two eye channels as the path is a narrow understanding. As it says in the Pearl Rosary, "If the key point of the gate does not move, the stainless awareness flows like a stream, manifesting from the gate of great bliss Brahma." This is a sign of accomplishment, no matter where you cast your gaze, you will be able to maintain stability. Key point of the manifesting realm. Second, the key point of the manifesting realm is, in the Root Tantra, it says, "The realm is that which is free from obscuration." And it says, "Space is external and internal. External is to focus on the cloudless sky. Internal is the path of the lamp." And in the Tantra, it says, "It will become clear when the three are free from conditions." Therefore, the place is a high, secluded, and clear place free from conditions. The realm is the sky free from conditions, without clouds and hail. In the morning, face west, and in the evening, face east, so that the senses are free from conditions, and the distant-shooting water lamp is placed to make it appear, or in order to make it easier for beginners to manifest luminosity, combine the two, face east in the morning and west in the evening, and cast a faint gaze at the empty sky about a cubit below the sun. As it says: The eye faintly looks at the sun, like the morning star in the east.
