Oh! Furthermore, the tantra says, "Fruit is called the secure ground, like a king occupying the throne, unchangeable and irreversible." It also says, "Ripening is called fruit." And, "If fruit is divided, it can be summarized into two: temporary and ultimate." It also says, "The way fruit ripens is that conditions do not perish and it is irreversible." Moreover, the Vajrasattva Heart Mirror says, "Know that all the dharmas of the fruit never revert from the three kayas." So it is said. The Yoga of Time Segments. Secondly, the continuous yoga related to that is, as the tantra says, "In order to put virtuous effort on the scale, one should train in the yoga of the four time segments." As it is said, the four time segments are dawn, morning, afternoon, and dusk. Those with elaboration divide the dawn time segment into three parts. In the first part, they meditate on guru yoga and pray. In the middle, they meditate on trekchö. In the last, they meditate on bliss-emptiness and tummo. In the morning time segment, in the first of the three parts, from dawn until sunrise, they do recitation and study scriptures, etc. Then, until noon, they meditate on tögal. At noon, they do circumambulation and take a short break. In the afternoon time segment, in the first of the two parts, in the afternoon, they also remain in tögal, and in the evening, they do torma offerings, dharma practice, and hold the breath. In the dusk time segment, in the first of the three parts, they meditate on death and impermanence. In the middle, they do generation stage and recitation. At noon, they merge sleep into clear light. Alternatively, a person without elaboration meditates on tögal in the morning and afternoon time segments of the day, that is, they meditate in the two times called morning and afternoon, and during the day, they practice continuous stream. In the two time segments of the night, with the body in a seated posture, they cover the eyes with their fingers, and without weight, gently press slightly, focusing their awareness on the sky directly in front of the eyebrow center, where five-colored light points shine like the patterns of a peacock's feathers, and meditate as much as possible. At the end of the dusk time segment, they gather the essential points of the senses in the posture of a sage, that is, on the four-petaled lotus at the navel, they visualize a short red A (藏文:ཨ,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:阿), which is hot to the touch, and from which fire blazes. It strikes the Hum (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) at the crown of the head from the central channel, and nectar descends from the bindu. The fire is fueled, causing it to burn intensely, burning away karma and habitual tendencies. When method and wisdom, red and white, unite, bliss increases, and one remains in the state of bliss-emptiness. At noon, one sits like an elephant.

Gathering the wisdom of the earth into a vase: In the heart, visualize a clear and radiant white A (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A), and in the Brahma aperture, visualize a clear white A (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A). Between the two, from the central channel, visualize subtle white A's (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A) like beads strung on a rosary, each one dissolving into the A (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A) in the heart. Through this, meditate on white light filling and illuminating all the channels and the body. This is the method of concealing sleep in the womb of luminosity, the key to self-liberation without abandoning ignorance. Immediately upon waking at dawn, exhale three long breaths with a "Ha" sound. To clarify awareness with the lion posture: In the sky, about an arrow's length above the crown of the head, visualize a second white A (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A) emanating from the A (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A) in the heart, clearly and distinctly present. By focusing the mind on this, the primordial state of original purity, the wisdom of non-duality of clarity and emptiness, will arise and be known. Similarly, in order to exhaust the five elements of the five winds in their own place, which are the limbs for generating the non-conceptual wisdom of cessation, the oral instructions of the great scholar Vimalamitra, the four meditations, visualize five stacked red A's (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A), four stacked red A's (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A), three stacked green A's (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A), two stacked yellow A's (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A), and a single blue A (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A) in sequence. By abiding in the unborn A (ཨ,अ,a,seed syllable A), one purifies the fire of conceptual thought, the water of joy and bliss, the wind of memory and thought, the earth-like support of memory, and the nature of what is to be abandoned, along with its parts. As it says in "The Lamp That Illuminates": "Like the sequence of meditation instructions, obtain the sequence of union day and night." And as it says in "The Essence of Profound Meaning": "Practice with dewdrops in the morning and evening, practice with a continuous stream during the day." And: "The three Kayas, Nirmanakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Dharmakaya, at dusk, midnight, and dawn, combine with the three objects of focus in sequence. Thus, by striving day and night, there is no doubt that one will be liberated." Furthermore, if one is inclined, it is said that one should also learn the seven-limbed posture and the four ways of looking at these times. The postures are: "Garuda, tiger, vomiting, human, fox, vulture, giant, and six, crocodile posture, seven key points of the body." The Garuda posture is: Place the soles of the feet together, straighten the body, place the two vajra fists on the thighs, bend the neck slightly, and look at the space between the eyebrows. Practice in this way. The tiger vomiting posture is: The position of the feet is the same as before, place the vajra fists in the secret place, the back of the neck
