Giving. First, regarding the manner of focusing on the key points of the three doors. In the Transcendence of Mind it says: "The key points of manifestation are body, speech, and mind; each of their key points should be well adjusted." As it says, of the three doors, the first, focusing on the key points of the body, has four aspects: the way it needs to be focused, the actual focusing, the faults of not focusing, and the benefits of focusing. The way the key points of the body need to be focused is: In the Clear Expanse it says: "Even if awareness abides in the body, if the taming of the taming wheels is not done, it will not be able to appear as the power of wisdom." As such, the appearance of awareness, the nature of reality, is inherently abiding in oneself, and it is said that in order to be seen manifestly by the senses, one must first focus on the key points of body and speech. The actual focusing is: In the Transcendence of Mind it says: "The body is the posture of the three kayas; it should not be constantly changed." And in the Pearl Rosary it says: "The key points of the body are of three kinds: the posture of a lion, the posture of an elephant, and abiding like a hermit." And in the Aftermath it says: "Establish the posture of elephant, lion, and hermit." As it says, the posture of the Dharmakaya is: sitting on a cushion in the dog posture like a lion, with the two knees slightly spread outwards, the soles of the two feet joined in front, thereby suppressing the moving wind. The thumb is placed at the base of the index finger, with the fingers curled on top, and the two palms are placed on the ground in the center or inside of the soles of the feet, thereby balancing the elements. The body is straightened and the upper torso is lifted, thereby allowing the wind to flow comfortably. The head and neck are raised, thereby stopping conceptual thoughts and increasing strength. The eyes are fixed on the sky between the eyebrows without moving, thereby obtaining the vajra eyes. This posture and way of looking temporarily free one from all the fears of delusion, and the inner arising is exhausted in its own place. Ultimately, one realizes the meaning of the nature of reality and is liberated into the Dharmakaya. The posture of the Sambhogakaya is: lying face down in the sleeping posture of an elephant, with the elbows placed on the ground, thereby balancing the male and female winds into neutral. The knees and chest are joined, thereby increasing essence and bliss-warmth. The palms support the throat, and the fingers are placed on the cheeks, thereby stopping the coarse wind. The toes are pushed outwards and curled, and the back is straight with the head slightly raised, thereby balancing dullness and agitation. The eyes are fixed on the sky in front with a sidelong glance, thereby obtaining the lotus eyes. This at the time

By grasping the winds of means and the spontaneous display of the five lights, one engages in the meaning of reality, ultimately attaining liberation into the Sambhogakaya. The posture of the Nirmanakaya is as follows: Sit upright with the body straight, balancing the channels and winds. Align the two shanks and place the soles of the feet on the ground, suppressing the power of water. Slightly contract the anus and press against the spine, cutting off conceptual thoughts. Join the knees to the chest, causing mirror-like wisdom to arise. Place the elbows of both hands on the knees, cross the wrists, and lift the collarbone with the vajra fist, balancing heat and cold. Alternatively, nestle the elbows into the kidney hollows, relieving cold diseases through touch. Or encircle and cover the knees, relieving heat diseases. Straighten the spine, allowing wind and mind to flow into reality. Lower the eyes slightly and gaze dimly into space, thereby obtaining the eye of Dharma. At that time, warmth will arise in the body, the elements will be balanced, and one will gain mastery over the meaning of reality, ultimately attaining liberation into the Nirmanakaya. Thus, any posture should not be too constricted or closed, but rather relaxed and at ease, without allowing obstacles to arise; this contains the key points. Furthermore, there are many teachings on manifest enlightenment, represented by the immutable vajra, and various limb postures, but it is said that this much is sufficient here, so I will not elaborate further. The faults of not applying the key points of body and speech are: Although the wisdom of awareness, the complete union of the three kayas, the indivisible, spontaneously accomplished Great Perfection, is inherently present within oneself, it will not manifest if the key points are not applied. Moreover, the aforementioned qualities will not arise. As it is said in the "Vast Expanse of Clarity": If the key points of the body are not applied, the expiring winds will not be grasped, and likewise, warmth will not arise in the body, and awareness will not be able to manifest. The benefits of applying the key points are: Qualities such as the manifestation of the clear light path of reality will arise, and ultimately, one will be liberated into the expanse of the Buddha's three kayas, thereby transcending suffering. As it is said in the "Decisive Cutting": The posture of the Dharmakaya is like a lion, free from all fears of delusion, and thus one will be able to see with the vajra eye. The posture of the Sambhogakaya is: Relying on the reclining posture of an elephant, thereby enjoying the meaning of reality, one will be able to see with the lotus eye. The posture of the Nirmanakaya is:
