May you bless me to generate experience and realization in my being. May you bless me to realize the state of original purity. Please bless me right now. Please bless me quickly. Please bless me in this place. Please bless me on this seat. Having said this and bestowed the blessing, the lama himself, through immeasurable compassion, dissolved into light and merged from the crown of the student's head, so that the three doors merged indivisibly with the three vajras, and by releasing awareness and allowing it to rest, the roar of blessings arose. Appearances merged with the lama. Conceptual thoughts arose as devotion. The radiance of awareness shone brightly as devotion. Habitual clinging arose openly without clinging, so that devotion was liberated into self-awareness. Self-awareness is liberated into the realm of unborn original purity, so it is said. Moreover, in the tantra of establishing vows, it says: Better to meditate on a deity with marks and signs for hundreds of thousands of eons, than to remember the lama for a moment. Better to recite millions of mantras, than to pray to the lama once. And in the Ati Establishment it says: That kind lama, whether meditated upon at the crown of the head or in the center of the heart, or in the palms of the hands, even the accomplishments of a thousand Buddhas, will be attained by that person. As it is said, abiding in the uncorrected state of

The arising of realization in the continuum depends solely on devotion to the guru; it cannot be realized by any other means. Generating joy through direct introduction in one's own experience. Secondly, generating joy through direct introduction in one's own experience: O! Leave your present awareness directly, without modification or manipulation. For it, existence or non-existence and partiality are not established. It does not distinguish the fine line between appearance and emptiness. The characteristics of permanence and annihilation are not established. Remaining naturally in this very state, like untying a knot without the effort of view and meditation, is the great primordial liberation without contrivance, the self-illumination without mental fabrication, the wisdom without the creation of conceptual thought, the nature of reality uncorrupted by view and meditation, the samadhi without fixation, the post-meditation without calculation, clarity without essence, vastness without straying, such as this state of innate abiding intention, and all sentient beings have never been separated from it for even a moment. However, just as water that is naturally free-flowing is bound by ice, the mind that grasps inwardly is the cause, and the objects that are grasped outwardly are the condition, and thus one wanders endlessly in samsara. Now, with the guru's instruction, from the mere recognition of the flaw in the moment of awareness, remaining without modifying or correcting, without distraction or meditation, on the nature of things as they are, this alone is the clear and complete revelation of the essence of the intention of the primordial Buddha Samantabhadra. As it says in the "Six Spaces": "On the mind-essence without permanence or annihilation, the appearance free from good and bad is, the intention free from rejection and acceptance, thus Samantabhadra has shown." "On the mind-essence without acceptance or rejection, the appearance of self-liberation without bias is, the intention of great pervasiveness, thus Samantabhadra has shown." "On the mind-essence without sinking or excitement, the intention of great equanimity is, the intention of the six aggregates being relaxed, thus Samantabhadra has shown." "On the mind-essence without fear, the appearance free from hope and worry is, the intention of innate confidence, thus Samantabhadra has shown." And as it says in the "Heap of Jewels Sutra": "This nature of reality without foundation, leaving it unfound is most wondrous. For the awareness that goes and comes, having no end is most wondrous. For the primordial great wisdom, having no antidote is most wondrous." And as it says in the "All-Creating King Tantra": Pre
