Without exceeding its own nature, it becomes peaceful and dissolves into the ocean; salt arises from water and dissolves back into water; just as a snake knot unravels without needing an antidote, conceptual thoughts are the play of dharmata, not exceeding the nature of dharmata, therefore they become peaceful and dissolve into the expanse of dharmata, or merely arising, they become self-liberated into the expanse of the primordially pure dharmata without relying on an antidote. As it is said in the Tantra of the Wondrous King: Like the waves of the ocean, all the movements of the waves of the mind, dissolve into the original, fundamental ocean. Sarahapa also said: Just as salt dissolves into water, likewise, the mind dissolves into its own nature. In the Uttaratantra it says: Just as the arising awareness, is self-liberated like a snake knot. And so on. Introducing the nature of appearing, abiding, and non-dual equality. Third, introducing the nature of appearing, abiding, and non-dual equality: When the mind itself, in its non-conceptual nature, allows whatever arises—the power of conceptual thoughts—to remain in its natural state without acceptance or rejection, like the ocean and its waves being inseparable, it abides unmoving in the nature of dharmata. The nature of the power of abiding, which arises unceasingly, is indivisible, and both do not stray from the nature of dharmata, but are equal in the nature of dharmata. That is, in abiding, it appears in various ways; in appearing, it is free from grasping at a subject and object; in equality, there is no clinging to it. Although external appearances appear in various ways, the mind is not disturbed by appearances, like the direct perception of the senses. Although internally it arises in various ways, it is free from clinging, like the consciousness of a dream. Although one engages with the six objects in various ways, there is no conceptual thought of acceptance or rejection, hope or fear, like the consciousness of a young child. When conceptual thoughts are pacified in the field of appearance, like salt dissolving in water. Whatever arises is free from clinging, like a madman without hope or fear. When appearance of objects is free from acceptance or rejection and clinging, it is called realizing emptiness both internally and externally. Thus, when the mind abides, it goes to the primordial state; when it appears, it manifests as the play of wisdom; when it is equal, it is liberated in the non-dual state. No matter what, it does not go beyond the play of dharmata. Thus, introduce it, and in those previous sections, experience arises in awareness regarding the meaning of what is to be meditated upon. When that is recognized, and the superimposition and denial regarding the nature of reality are cut off, then

By continuously stretching, stability is gradually attained. If one always remains at that level of understanding, then subsequent introductions become meaningless. Therefore, one should again diligently meditate on the previous stages of visualization, and by demonstrating and practicing in conjunction with later experiences, one will gradually grasp the beginning of experiential realization of the meaning of the Great Perfection, the nature of reality that is primordially pure, transcending acceptance and rejection. As it says in the Root Tantra of the Essence of Liberation: "All inner and outer conceptions are empty and liberated." And as it says in the Guhyagarbha Tantra: "The nature of consciousness is transcended, holding the nature of non-dual wisdom, without conceptualization, spontaneously accomplished." And: "Abiding in equality like space, transcending all defilements of affliction." Therefore, here, since it is not dependent on the object of abiding and moving, not falling into either the outer six consciousnesses or the inner two consciousnesses, but rather the awareness that transcends arising, ceasing, permanence, and annihilation, which is the nature of self-knowing and self-illuminating, its power and radiance are unobstructed appearances, vast and open. By stretching unremittingly into that self-nature that transcends clarity, luminosity, and the realm of speech, the realization of reality will become increasingly enhanced and stable. This is what the Great Treasure Revealer said.
