I introduce the state of self-abiding meditation. Second, introducing experience on the path of meditation: The great treasure revealer Gyurme Dorje said that there are two introductions: introducing the state of self-abiding meditation and introducing the play of self-radiant wisdom. Therefore, we should do the same here. Among them, the first is to introduce the state of meditation: As stated in the "Precious Lamp Sutra": "From the nature of the three placements, the meaning of original purity becomes manifest." Therefore, the body is in the vajra posture, and the unwavering posture is like a mountain king; the eyes are fixed directly at a distance of about an arrow, and the unmoving posture is like an ocean; the unmodified awareness naturally abides in the nature of the original dharma, and effortlessly abiding is the posture of awareness, so let it abide unmoving. O fortunate ones, look at this present self-luminous naked awareness without distraction. The stainless pure Buddha is the self-aware dharmakaya that does not change. Sa le seng nge wal le wa. Like the cloudless autumn sky, abide like the unmoving and stable mountain king! Abide like the unwavering and clear ocean! Abide like the vast and unobstructed sky! No matter how you abide, it is the nature of awareness! No matter how it arises, it is the radiance of awareness! Let it relax and abide, self-aware, clear, and discerning! Just as birds fly anywhere, they do not leave the sky, so is the nature of awareness. Let all phenomena abide self-luminous and unwavering! After saying this, abiding in the clear and bright nature of the mind, the previous non-conceptual state disappears due to the cause of throwing the syllable "Phat" (ཕཊ།) into space. However, conceptual thoughts of arising sensations, and the antidote of non-attachment to them, the self-luminous and vast awareness arises like a field. This is the meditation of the nature of awareness, so recognize it, and the awareness transforms and abides. No matter when good or bad thoughts arise, look at them with the self-luminous and natural nature, and the meditation of non-attachment and self-nature arises nakedly and clearly. This is the effortless and spontaneous practice, like a continuous stream of water. Thus introduced, and after gaining some stability in it, due to the combination of various behaviors and personal experiences, and the integration with meditation, all actions, behaviors, memories, and thoughts appear as the play of dharma nature, without the distinction of meditation and post-meditation, without the interval of day and night, without the dharma of acceptance and rejection, medi

Without counting practice and practitioner, but reciting everything as the self-radiance of awareness, the intention of Dharma-exhausted primordial purity. Thus it is said. Likewise, in the Transcendent Treatise, it is said: In the essence of primordial purity wisdom, there is no such thing as ignorance, therefore there is no counting of one and two, and even wisdom is not established. Thus it is said. Introducing self-radiance as the play of wisdom. Introducing abiding as the ornament of mind. Second, introducing self-radiance as the play of wisdom, divided into three parts: introducing abiding as ornament, arising as play, and non-duality as equality. First, introducing abiding as the ornament of mind: the three doors are placed upright, without moving, naturally and relaxed, and in that state, the acceptance and rejection of good and evil, the cessation and establishment of thoughts of the mind, etc., are naturally put down. Just as the waves of the great ocean are calm, clear, and unmoving, all the illusions of the mind, the proliferation of discriminating thoughts, are completely pacified, and the co-emergent wisdom of clarity and emptiness, in the unmistaken primordial state, relaxes, clearly and brightly abiding, which is the meaning of Trekchö, the mind itself. Moreover, the essence of mind itself, being free from all proliferation, is the Dharmakaya; its nature being clear and without clinging is the Sambhogakaya; and the uninterrupted plan of compassion appearing in various forms is the Nirmanakaya. In its natural state, the three kayas are spontaneously present without distinction, which is the ornament of mind itself. Thus it is introduced. As it is said in Self-Arising: Transcending the extremes of permanence and annihilation, the defilement of the four extremes is naturally purified. It is also said: Awareness without thought is the Dharmakaya, awareness unceasing and clear is the Sambhogakaya, awareness appearing in any form is the Nirmanakaya. Also, in the Transcendent Treatise, it is said: Wisdom abiding in its own place, is inseparable in the manner of the three kayas. Thus it is said. Introducing arising as the play of mind. Second, introducing arising as the play of mind: Thus, in the state of mind being clear and non-discriminating, do not welcome or send off the thoughts that arise from the unceasing self-power manifestation. Do not abide, do not modify, do not prevent arising, do not practice equality, do not make cessation, practice, acceptance, or rejection. No matter how thoughts arise, let them naturally relax in their self-arising state, just as waves are the play of the ocean.
