Those who vomit and become annoying to associate with should not be given empowerments and instructions of Dzogchen, as they are not suitable vessels. Even if given, it will not help; instead, they will become arrogant and conceited, leading to wrong views and unwholesome deeds. The instructions will be corrupted, the blessings diminished, and ultimately they will fall into the lower realms. As it says in 'Vast Expanse of Clarity': Furthermore, this essential drop of essence, if poured into unsuitable vessels, the vessel will crack, the essence will spill, and they will fall into hell. Therefore, one should not give it to them. Qualities of a Disciple to be Accepted. A disciple to be accepted is as follows.

Those who are easily discouraged in their endeavors, who can endure hardship in asceticism, and who have great diligence in Dharma, because they have good karma and good fortune, and are excellent vessels for secret mantras and possess the characteristics, are suitable to be given empowerment and instructions. To such excellent sons of the lineage, giving instructions brings merit, and not giving them brings faults. As it says in the "Vast Expanse of Clarity": "Suitable as a vessel for the essence of secret mantras, the great son who guides beings." And in the "Examination of Vessels and Times of the Heart Drop": "If this is not shown to the place of giving, the profound treasure of Dharma will be obscured. If one does not show it oneself when the time is ripe, the benefit of beings will be cut off and one will incur a downfall." It is also like that. Moreover, it is not just given all at once, but after giving empowerment and guidance, instructions are given in stages, and when one has faith in the appearance of the clear light of wisdom and can make vows and promises for practice, then it is necessary to give it completely. As it says in the same text: "After the empowerment and guidance are complete, between a year and a month, do not give it all at once, but give it in stages. When the student has understood the bindu itself, and can take the vow of practice, then give it completely." The Explanation of Empowerment Offerings and Sustenance Fifth, the explanation of empowerment offerings and sustenance. As it says in the "Vast Expanse of Clarity": "Flowers, empowerment offerings, tsokhor, torma offerings, etc., at the time of practice, seek the support of the elements, and be complete with all favorable objects." As it is said, it is necessary to prepare: necessary objects, such as flowers for hand gestures, mandalas for empowerment offerings, tsok tormas, etc.; sustenance objects, such as the conditions for food and clothing that do not fall to either extreme; symbolic objects, such as vajra, bell, skull cup, etc.; Dharma objects, such as the various samaya substances of secret mantras; favorable objects, such as medicines and auspicious substances; excellent objects, such as scriptures from which arise the three wisdoms of hearing, thinking, and meditation, etc. All the favorable conditions necessary for practice must be fully prepared, so they must be accumulated. The necessity of accumulation, as well as the merits of complete equipment and the faults of incompleteness, are also mentioned in order in the "Vast Expanse of Clarity": "Because secret mantra is the path of skillful means, accumulate auspicious objects and substances." And "With all equipment complete, the accomplishment of Dharma arises." And "Without auspicious substances, accomplishment will be abandoned." The Explanation of How to Give Instructions
