In the Klong Drug Pa it says: For the mind-essence without permanence or annihilation, The appearance free from good or bad is, The view free from abandoning or adopting, Samantabhadra, I have taught. For the mind-essence without adopting or discarding, The appearance of impartial self-liberation is, The view of vast expanse, Samantabhadra, I have taught. For the mind-essence without sinking or excitement, The view of great equanimity is, The view of the six aggregates being relaxed, Samantabhadra, I have taught. For the mind-essence without fear, The appearance free from hope and doubt is, The view of primordial abiding, confident, Samantabhadra, I have taught. And in the Precious Pile it says: This Dharma-nature without a basis, It is wonderful to leave it unfound. For the awareness that goes and comes, It is wonderful to have no end. For the primordial wisdom of the great primordial abiding, It is wonderful to have no antidote. And in the All-Creating King Tantra it says: The Buddhas of the past also, Did not seek Dharma elsewhere than in their own minds, They never altered what is as it is, They never meditated on conceptual samadhi, It is accomplished by not conceptualizing one's own mind. Those who dwell now and those who will come later, Will also be accomplished by non-conceptual equality. Thus, the nature of mind, from the very beginning, is the great self-liberation, recognizing this is awareness. Therefore, maintaining the continuity of that is faster than other paths for forcibly becoming a Buddha, so be joyful. Thus, joy is generated.

It is awareness. The Dharmakaya is beyond the limits of existence and non-existence. As it is said in "The Great Garuda Soaring": "Whatever effort is made without limit, is like a bird seeking the edge of the sky, it cannot be found. This meaning of not finding, once found, cannot be changed by anyone. For this unelaborated knowable, there is no possibility of an end." Thus it is proclaimed. Similarly, regarding the objects of the six senses such as visible forms, even if thoughts of good and bad arise, without deliberately clinging to them, if one merely uses the mental constructs of emptiness negation and non-affirmation, as in the intellectual philosophical systems, to deliberately block the appearance of objects, one will not attain Buddhahood. If that were the case, since appearance and the object of appearance are not distinguished, there would be a danger of falling into the Mind-Only school, becoming tainted with true existence. It is not so. Although the thought "it is that" arises in the first moment of seeing anything, which is unavoidable for ordinary beings, in the second moment, due to the complete power of mind and mental factors contemplating its nature, the previous conceptual thought naturally vanishes without a trace. Even though the appearance of the object does not cease, one becomes accustomed to abiding in the nature of reality without clinging. Arising and liberation are simultaneously purified, and appearance and mind merge. This is the unmistaken path of the Great Perfection of inherent nature. As it is said in the "All-Creating King": "When the six senses perceive the six objects, seeing suffering causes the senses to cease. Thus, the actions of the All-Creating King cannot be measured, therefore there is no result of arising and ceasing." The awareness-holder Garab Dorje said: "At the time of arising, there is simultaneous arising without good or bad. At the time of liberation, there is simultaneous liberation without good or bad." Thus it is proclaimed. Therefore, there is no need to rely on diligent purification with the effort of accepting and rejecting the impurities of the elements. It is far superior to the contaminated practices bound by the clinging to guarding, meditating, learning, and practicing. The view of the King of the Great Perfection of inherent nature is the single bindu beyond effort and mind. That is, all aspects of the skillful means of the path of the perfections, and all aspects of the wisdom of samadhi, are the nature of awareness, the All-Creating King, the King of Supreme Mindfulness. In the "Sutra Requested by Distinction," it is said: "Non-grasping is generosity, non-abiding is discipline, non-guarding is patience, non-exertion is diligence, non-thinking is concentration, non-objectifying is wisdom." Thus it is proclaimed. The root of practice.
