Having observed, by cultivating the unobstructed self-arising wisdom that is free from knowledge and actions in a natural way, the state of primordial emptiness and original purity is realized. As it says in 'Liberation from Bondage': 'All internal and external discriminations are liberated in primordial emptiness.' And: 'If one knows the basis to be completely pure, then the meaning of the basis is manifested, and one is liberated in one's own place.' Here, the statement that the essence is realized as the emptiness of awareness, free from grasping, without trace, and free from attachment, is also of the same meaning. If one thinks that the examination of the three places of arising, dwelling, and ceasing has already appeared as a unique preliminary practice, and that it is repetitive, it is not so. The previous examination was to examine the object and establish its non-establishment, while this examination is to examine the subject and establish it on the essence. This is the view of Kunchen Longchenpa. The former is to establish the mind as rootless and baseless, while the latter, according to Mingling Terchen Yabsé, is to show the state of equanimity in the meaning of what has been refuted, and to show the reality of equal abiding. All of these are the stages of guidance for generating the ungenerated reality. Introducing the Self-Nature of Awareness. The Common Introduction. Third, the introduction of the self-nature of awareness is divided into two methods: the common introduction based on the difference of faculties, and the uncommon introduction. First, the common introduction is from the 'Introduction to Elaboration': 'Emaho! By introducing appearances as mind, it is absorbed into the mind. By introducing mind itself as emptiness, emptiness is sealed with the seal of bliss. By introducing emptiness as awareness, awareness itself is non-dual with the expanse, and that alone is the Dharmakaya.' This means that for those disciples of this Dharma who have faith but whose consciousness is obscured, one first introduces appearances as being made by the mind, thereby reversing the self-sustaining view of clinging to reality. By introducing the mind that makes things as emptiness, one abandons attachment to objects. By introducing emptiness as awareness, one does not misunderstand the nature of reality as annihilation. Only by focusing on the key points, one is guided. This is common to other result vehicles and is not the actual liberating method of this path. As it says in 'Self-Arising': 'Appearances are the yoga of the mind, all arise from my mind. If one realizes the nature of mind, what is there to do? Those who constantly say this, I have not said to be liberated.' The Uncommon Introduction. Introducing on the Ground of the View of Reality. Introducing Discrimination as Mind. Second, the uncommon

Regarding the introduction to non-self, there are three types: introduction through view, introduction through meditation, and introduction through sudden encounter. First, regarding the introduction to reality through view, the essential instructions state: "Then, introduce conceptual thought as mind, introduce mind as emptiness, introduce emptiness as appearance, introduce appearance and emptiness as non-dual, and introduce non-duality as self-liberation." Here, five are mentioned. The first is introducing conceptual thought as mind: Like this, all phenomena that appear as various objects of grasping, although they are all grasped separately by conceptual thought as 'this' and 'that,' in reality, the same basis appears as countless differences from different beings, and even the same person appears as enemies, friends, and neutral parties due to different conceptual thoughts. All environments are like dream appearances, merely illusions of conceptual thought, and there is no truly established entity outside. Therefore, no matter how external objects and the conceptual thoughts of the subject arise, they are all created by the mind, and do not deviate from the nature of mind itself. And the essence of mind, even the Buddhas of the three times have not seen, do not see, and will not see. Then, what can symbolize its characteristic is this clearly arising conceptual thought, and there is nothing else apart from it. After this introduction, one can be certain that the various conceptual thoughts of external objects and the subject are non-dual with mind. The Clear Space Tantra states: "The mind's thoughts, reflections, and the skill of awareness, all that transforms into pure appearance and knowledge, do not deviate from awareness itself." Similarly, the Vajra Tent Tantra also states: "Apart from the precious mind, there is neither Buddha nor sentient being." The above is the introduction to the emptiness of mind. Introducing mind as emptiness. The second is introducing mind as emptiness: The nature of mind itself is primordially free from the eight extremes of elaboration, such as arising and ceasing, permanence and annihilation, coming and going, one and many, and cannot be established as 'this' in any way, nor can it be symbolized by anything. Therefore, one is certain that the nature of mind is emptiness. After this introduction, one can gain a definite understanding that transcends thought and is free from words. The Clear Space states: "When looking back at the very one who moves, like a hailstone, it is self-liberated without being abandoned." And the All-Pervading Bliss states: "The rootless nature of mind cannot be found by searching, cannot be identified, remains as it is, primordially in the state of emptiness, is inexpressible, self-arisen primordial wisdom."
