As before, bless the six places of action mudra and the dakinis. Lean the body slightly forward and focus the gaze. As stated in the Guhyasamaja Tantra: 'The mantra practitioner who knows the ritual should observe with the union of the deity.' As stated in the Whispered Transmission: 'The gaze should be like the gaze of one's own deity.' Therefore, here the gaze should be slightly lowered. As stated in the King of Tantras: 'For the sake of attainment, the hand mudra completely liberates from all the faults of one's own heart's power.' In its commentary: 'If there is no action mudra for the sake of attainment, then the hand mudra should be given. The hand mudra that empowers one's own heart completely liberates from all faults, for the sake of stabilizing bodhicitta.' This is the certainty. As stated in the Wisdom Chapter: 'The sound of the vajra in the lotus, or caressing with one's own hand's lotus, is for the sake of bliss. The bliss of not emitting semen is the death that steals life; this is the face of the glorious lama.' In its commentary: 'If joy does not arise through the door of form, then the sound of the vajra in the lotus, that is, should be done with the fingertips. If a woman is not found, then one should caress with the lotus of one's own hand, for the sake of increasing bliss, not for the sake of falling. Thus, the bliss of not emitting semen becomes the death that steals life; this is the fourth face of the glorious lama, that is, the wisdom vajra, which is the certainty of a yogi's familiarity.' As stated in the Sambhuta Tantra: 'In the fear of reviling the teachings, and among wicked beings, the yogi should think only of his own mind, and manifest great devotion to it.' Second, the wisdom mudra: As before, visualize Vajradhara and other deities in equal union with their consorts, without moving. Third, the teaching of attaining bliss through reliance on the action mudra as the path of great secret: As stated in the tantra: 'The life force enters the central channel, completely separated from objects and distinctions, embracing various consorts. One's own vajra, entering the lotus, likewise enters the central channel like the sun and moon. Abiding in the great joy of not emitting the seed of bliss, this is the yoga of yogis. For the sake of accomplishing the siddhi of the mudra, this is the glorious secret of the pervasive lord, most secret of all.' And as stated in the Two Examinations Tantra: 'Do not reveal secrets, like snakes and thieves, acting on the earth, one will suffer the pain of fire.' Fourth, the tsok offering ritual: Action mudra --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One should enjoy many pleasures when young, as the 'Auditory Transmission' says: 'With attachment, engage in many activities, experience the equal taste of great bliss.' And: 'Afflict the body, dispel with the mudra.' And as the 'Sadhana Collection' says: 'If, by means of individual gathering and so forth, the desires of the mantra practitioners are not fulfilled, then by the power of Nada (藏文:ནཱ་ད,梵文天城体:नाद,梵文罗马拟音:nāda,汉语字面意思:sound), forcibly restrain the bindu in the vajra jewel residing in the lotus and practice. 'So it is said in its commentary. Now the yoga of force is taught, that is, when, by means of individual gathering and so forth, when the form has become visible, if a moment without change is not born by not binding the life force, then at that time, the power of Nada will be explained, forcibly causing it to descend into the central channel, in the lotus of wisdom, restrain the bodhicitta bindu in the vajra jewel, and practice a moment without change with unwavering force.' This is the yoga of force. One should meditate as it is. Thus, during the time of recollection, relying on the karma mudra, with the fire of tummo blazing in the navel, the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) syllable at the crown of the head melts into the bodhicitta bindu, and one must experience the four joys descending into the chakras, and it must be connected with the visualization of the wisdom mudra. It is extremely important to meditate on the great mudra, the clear light, the empty form, as being in union with emptiness that possesses all supreme aspects. Fourth, the signs of meditation are twofold: How the experiences of recollection arise. No matter how much the great bliss of bodhicitta descends with the blazing fire of tummo, one experiences a special bliss that does not move outward from the vajra jewel, and one's own body also appears as a mandala of empty form and light, and from the pores of the hair, five kinds of wisdom rays appear to pervade the sky, and one also sees the appearance of clear light, such as pure and impure Buddha fields, and also sees many forms of pure and impure fields. What is the measure of recollection? Generally, yoga is direct perception, and within that, in the 'Vajra Heart Commentary,' it is said: 'Recollection yoga is direct perception, and samadhi is also direct perception for each.' Therefore, the 'Auditory Transmission' says: 'Self-awareness is considered direct perception.' This is not correct. Fifth, the distinction between what is to be purified and what purifies. The basis to be purified is: the original state residing in all sentient beings... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
