Collection of Instructions by Garab Dorje Lawopa Jangsri: JGLG8 Profound Path Vajra Yoga's Final Virtuous Guidance 1-481 Profound Path Vajra Yoga's Final Virtuous Guidance Profound Path Vajra Yoga's Final Virtuous Guidance Homage to the Victorious One, Amitabha, the essence of Vairochana. I prostrate at the feet of the Dharma Lord Lama. I write the final virtuous guidance for the practice, the great practice, the Vajra Yoga of Mind and Wisdom. Here, in the third of the common purposes of beings, the third is the final virtuous guidance: the Tummo (fierce heat) and Thigle (bindu) yoga of the limb of recollection practice, and the bliss or subtle yoga of the limb of great Samadhi practice. In the third of the common purposes of beings, the third is the final virtuous guidance. The first has six aspects: the definition of recollection, the time frame for meditating on recollection, the limb of recollection, the signs and measures of recollection, the distinction by what is purified and what purifies, and the temporary and ultimate fruits. The Definition of Recollection: Firstly, in the Tantra of Practice Garland, it says: 'Whatever arises in the appearance of Tummo, one will surely remember the body and the five elements of space.' In its commentary, it says: 'Whatever appearance of Tummo pervades the three realms of space is recollection, as the ten aspects were previously spoken.' This means uniting the life force, the seltar, and the navel chakra into one, and within the central channel, the wisdom wind remains unwavering. The appearance of this Tummo is that one's own body appears as a mandala of empty form and light, and from the pores of the hair, five rays of light appear, shining into the sky with the aspect of purifying all three realms. The bliss of the Thigle descending into the central channel from the melting of the Hūṃ (藏文:ཧྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:seed syllable representing the mind of all Buddhas) syllable moon Thigle at the crown of the head by the Tummo fire of the navel chakra is recollection; or because of attachment to the empty form of one's desired deity, it is called recollection, which is experiencing the ten states of desire. Also, in the Later Tantra, it says: 'Through recollection, like a rabbit in the sky, great rays of light will surely emanate from one's own form.' In the Upper Commentary of Chakrasamvara, it says: 'Then, what is called recollection is seeing one's desired deity, which is the form of an image free from conceptualization. From it, numerous rays of light emanate, which is the mandala of light. From it, numerous forms emanate, shining upon the three realms, which is called the limb of recollection.' The Time Frame for Meditating on Recollection: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The boundary is: Through the power of wind-mind at the forehead, gaining the ability to hold the Bodhicitta jewel without leaking outwards and meditating, in order to contain the life-wind within the bindu mentioned earlier, etc. In the 'Achievement Tantra,' it says: 'Half a year or a year, one must certainly, through the definitive empowerment of the Lama, make one's own mind stable.' Then, through the union of mudras, for several days and nights, there will be no change, becoming very stable. That is the reason. Branch: Remembrance The third is the branch of meditation methods, including the place of remembrance meditation, the object of remembrance, the necessity of remembrance meditation, the duration of remembrance meditation, and the manner of how to meditate on remembrance, these five aspects. The first point: In the 'Wisdom Chapter of the King of Tantras,' it says: 'These four mudras that give the fruit of unchanging bliss, in towns, villages, monasteries, cemeteries, and unclean and clean places, houses and all the abodes of gods, at all times, dwelling in the joy of extreme delight, liberated from the worldly path, manifesting caste and non-caste, with strong bodies, giving bliss, yogis endowed with food and drink, etc., should meditate.' This indicates both the place of remembrance meditation and the practitioner. The four mudras are: In the 'Achievement Method Chapter,' it says: 'A prostitute is the Karma Mudra, a secret woman is the Samaya Mudra, one who is free is the Dharma Mudra, and one who is loved by many is the Wisdom Mudra.' A prostitute enjoys the highest bliss at the age of twelve, other women at sixteen, a free and beautiful woman at twenty, and one's own wife at thirty. The second point: In the 'Oral Transmission,' it says: 'The object is bliss itself, remembering bliss in the continuum.' That is to say, the four joys that flow from the melting of the Bodhicitta bindu from the crown of the head due to the burning of Tummo fire in the navel, flowing to the center of the four chakras, are the objects of remembrance. The third point: In the 'Oral Transmission,' it says: 'In order to increase bliss, meditate on the branch of remembrance.' This means meditating in order to prevent the flow of the Bodhicitta bindu from flowing outwards and to make it rise upwards as before. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
