That uncreated nature is truly established in the ultimate sense, transcending impurity, selflessness, non-pleasure, and impermanence, and naturally possesses all the qualities of omniscience. The nature of wisdom pervades all stable and changing things. The Buddha speaks of this in the sutras and tantras. Maitreya (the loving one), the lord of the ten bhumis, Vajragarbha (essence of vajra), and the three lords of the family (Trigunamaste, Avalokiteśvara, Manjushri, and Vajrapani) are explained by the five great bodhisattvas. Saraha and other great accomplished ones, as well as Nagarjuna and his sons, Asanga and his brothers, who received prophecies, and many Indian scholars, as well as great scholars and accomplished ones from Nepal and Tibet, have all explained and practiced it. Regarding the view in the Ratnagotravibhāga that 'the Tathāgatagarbha has defilements and the Thusness is without defilements,' Nowadays, some 'scholars' (such as Gendun Chopel, etc.) who are arrogant in their use of various terms of right view, think that such a tenet is the result of being born into heterodoxy again and again, just as a poisonous snake smells the scent of ghee. They become disturbed merely by hearing the sound of 'emptiness'. These people are actually indulging in the practices and secrets of the heterodox Samkhya school, clinging to a permanent, singular, and independent self, believing that it pervades all stable and changing things. The Nyaya school believes that Ishvara (自在天) is a permanent, self-born omniscient being that pervades all stable and changing things. The Vaishnava school also holds the same view. The Vedic school believes that the great sage has the color of the sun, and is also called Mahadeva (大自在天) and Brahma (梵天), they believe that the self-born omniscient being pervades everything. When a yogi practices yoga and directly sees this omniscient being with the divine eye, he attains liberation. These are all heterodox views. Followers of the Sugata's teachings have never accepted such a tenet in India, Tibet, or Nepal before.' Furthermore, they also believe that 'when all impure appearances completely cease, the mind of the ultimate truth, the nature of the Tathāgatagarbha, will appear as the image of all dharmas of samsara and nirvana. Its essence is the permanent and unchanging nature of the dharmadhatu, and there is another three realms different from the three realms of existence, which is our liberation and omniscience.' To think that liberation has a form is also the view of the heterodox naked sect. Their scriptures say: 'Liberation is like the color of snowflakes, camphor flowers, and pearls, like the shape of an open white umbrella, as the Buddhas have declared.' This is no different from believing that there is a city of liberation above the three realms, like a white umbrella turned upwards.

These are called Tirthikas (non-Buddhists). Why? Because such discriminations cling to the four reliances such as words, are separated from the four reliances such as meanings, have not seen the profound nature of reality as taught in the sutras and tantras, which is endowed with all perfections, and even if they have seen it, they do not believe it, thereby slandering the profound Dharmadhatu and the holy beings, and disrupting the profound sutras and tantras. These dharmas are the dharmas of the Tirthikas, and those who think so are Tirthikas. Then what are the Buddha's Dharma and Buddhists? Are the Tirthikas not satisfied? This shows that one's own hearing is small, and measuring Zochen with the knowledge of a frog in a well does not realize that it has offended all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. This kind of abandoning the Dharma is an extremely serious sin! Are you not afraid of falling into the Avici hell, with unbearable suffering? Even killing all the sentient beings in the three thousand great thousand worlds is not as sinful as one-hundredth of the sin of abandoning the Dharma! If it is considered a Tirthika doctrine simply because it resembles some views of the Tirthikas, then humans and animals both eat food, so do humans also become animals? In terms of meaning, the liberation of the Tirthikas is a phenomenon that can be analyzed, while the Tathagatagarbha (Buddha-nature) of Zochen is the cause, emptiness and wisdom, and the three realms are its different names; fruit, great bliss, skillful means, and compassion are its different names. Wisdom, great emptiness, the other three realms, and the fruit, skillful means, great bliss, and immutable union are the Svabhavikakaya (essence body) of Bhagavan Vajrasattva. In the 'Two Examinations' it says: 'That which is called indestructible Vajra, the mind and the three existences are one. By this reasoning of wisdom, it is called Vajrasattva.' In the world of stainless light, what is shown by the ultimate truth is the most supreme of all those who have transcended the world. In order to accomplish the siddhi (accomplishment) of the Mahamudra (great seal), it is separated from the dharmas that are completely examined by one's own mind, just as young women imprint images on mirrors and the like, the clear light of the yogis' own minds appears manifestly in the sky, giving the fruit of desired things. The fruit is the unchanging mind of blissful wisdom. The oneness of these two minds is the nature of wisdom and skillful means, the great meaning of Vajra Yoga, the unchanging primordial Buddha, without sectarian distinctions. Kalachakra (Wheel of Time) Bhagavan Vajrasattva is well known in all other tantras.
