It is said in other scriptures that 'beyond the three realms'. The liberation of the Victorious One (Tibetan: རྒྱལ་བ་པའི་, meaning: victorious) is singular in form, color, and direction, and therefore is merely a material appearance. But what is spoken of here (liberation) has all colors and forms, including sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma, that is, all objects; including the senses such as eyes and all beings such as Buddhas, therefore it is not an ordinary object and is difficult to describe in detail. Although the word 'form' is associated with 'beyond the three realms' here, it is actually wisdom and has no obstruction, therefore it is not the nature of form and is different from the heretics. To deny its existence simply because it has not been seen is to become a follower of the Lokayata school, which will lead to falling into the Avici hell, and will also lead to other evil consequences. The *Stainless Light Sutra* says: 'Evil teachers who turn away from the Tathagatagarbha, who are attached to sensual pleasures, and who speak falsely, will fall into the Avici hell because they cling to the faults of what has not been seen.' Furthermore, these methods of the *Sravaka Vehicle*, the *Paramita Vehicle*, and the *Mantra Vehicle* cannot attain the supreme and unchanging essence, the Bhagavan Vajradhara, as stated in the *Namasangiti*, which was taught by the Tathagata. 'Those who do not understand this meaning, those who are not true gurus, those who have fallen, those who have lost the supreme and unchanging wisdom, will appear in the future. Those who have fallen will cause beings to fall.' Therefore, those who turn away from the Tathagatagarbha, who have lost the unchanging wisdom, who think that the Buddha and wisdom are conditioned phenomena, and who think that beings do not have the Dharmakaya and self-arisen wisdom from the beginning, are all wrong. Furthermore, those who refute say: 'In order to distinguish the views of the *Uttaratantra*, in the metaphor of 'three thousand worlds like a piece of silk', the wisdom of the Tathagata is infinite, without attachment, and the wisdom that can nourish all beings has been completely integrated into the continuum of all beings.' This meaning is like the arising of merit from jewels, although the defiled Dharmata does not have real powers and other merits now, once it is completely purified, it will have powers and other merits. Therefore, it is thought that the merits of the Buddha have been integrated into the continuum of all beings. Those who claim that the merits of the Buddha exist in the Dharmata of beings now are like the Samkhya school claiming that the fruit is hidden in the tip of the grass, even a hundred elephants cannot see it, and are even more foolish than livestock. Because... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like darkness dispelled by light, how could the unobstructed wisdom of the Buddha be obscured by afflictions in the minds of sentient beings? If this were a quality of the impure state, it would contradict the 'qualities of the immaculate Buddha,' and why would powers and other attributes be called fruitless qualities? Therefore, throughout this treatise, it is stated that powers and other qualities exist only in a state of complete purity, and never in an impure state. To say otherwise is to slander the Buddha and his representatives, calling them foolish and making false accusations. For the Teacher has stated in the *Vaipulya Sutra* and the *Heart Sutra*, among others, that all sentient beings possess the wisdom of the Buddha obscured by defilements, and Maitreya has also explained it in this way. To claim that the *Tathagatagarbha* in its impure state does not possess powers and other qualities is to deny the obvious. In the commentary on *Distinguishing the Undifferentiated*, it says: 'The qualities of the immaculate Buddha exist undifferentiated even in the state of ordinary beings afflicted by all defilements, because the nature of reality is without distinction between before and after. This state is inconceivable, for there is no sentient being who does not possess all the wisdom of the *Tathagata*.' What does this mean? Furthermore, there are statements such as 'The Buddha sees his own nature with his eye,' and 'Like the body possessing uncontaminated wisdom, like a bee gathering honey.' Are powers and other attributes not uncontaminated wisdom? In the sutra *The Lord of Dharma, Not Liberated from the Womb of Afflictions*, it says: 'Likewise, the *Tathagata*, with the adornment of the *Tathagata*, sees all sentient beings as *Tathagatas*, as Buddhas, as wisdom, as self-born, entangled in the cocoon of afflictions.' And in the sutra 'Like a Treasure of Dharma in the House of the Mind, Sentient Beings are Like the Poor,' it says: 'Likewise, beneath the house-like conceptual clinging of all sentient beings lies the great treasure of the *Tathagatagarbha*, with its powers, fearlessness, unmixed qualities, and the storehouse of all the Buddha's teachings.' And 'Seeing that the Buddha, whose qualities are immaculate, pervades all sentient beings without distinction, vast and boundless like the sky, is a treasure,' are these not verses from the *Uttaratantra*? You yourself have said: 'Faults are adventitious, and qualities are intrinsic.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
