The explanation of selflessness and the brief exposition of the selflessness of phenomena: The aggregates, realms, and sources, If one realizes they are unborn, Knowing their nature is emptiness, Is fully explained as prajna. Thus it is said. Furthermore, if one wonders what that prajna of meditation is, due to the power of familiarity with the method? First, with the reasoning of "one, cause, and eater," As an antidote to clinging to a single self, meditate on just the five aggregates of form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. Because it is an aggregate in the sense of being piled up, it is not singular. And as an antidote to clinging to the self as a cause, meditate on just the six realms of form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and phenomena; the six realms of eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind; the six realms of sense consciousness of those such as eye consciousness, and the eighteen realms. Because it is called a realm in the sense of a seed, there is no self as the agent. And as an antidote to clinging to the self as the eater, meditate on just the six internal sources of eye, etc., the six external sources of form, etc., and the twelve sources. From the meeting of object and sense faculty, mind and mental factors arise, and there is just arising and increasing, but there is no self as the eater. Thus, by meditating on the selflessness of the person, the self of the person does not exist even conventionally, like a rabbit's horn. However, what exists is just the cause and effect of the aggregates, etc. If one wonders whether those themselves are established as entities? By analyzing with the great reasonings that will be explained for those aggregates, etc., those phenomena of aggregates, etc., also, You see all births As like births of illusion. Thus, by meditating on the selflessness of phenomena, realizing that they are merely imputed and do not truly exist in the ultimate sense, those aggregates, etc., are not like destroying existence and making it empty, but knowing the reality that from the very beginning, their nature is emptiness itself, that is, as the Lord said in the Ornament of the Sutras, The meaning of the word prajna Is explained for knowing the ultimate. Thus, the essence or definition of what is called prajna is fully explained. Sharawo said: This is also identifying prajna, and it is also showing the order of meditating on prajna. Geshe De

In your oral tradition of Lamrim's essential instructions, it is said that the cause of all existence is attachment to substantiality, and the antidote to it is to meditate on non-objective wisdom. Moreover, one must meditate on a complete and flawless wisdom, as the Yogachara-Madhyamaka school states: 'One should transcend the individual. Having transcended the individual, one should transcend the external. Relying on mind-only, one does not conceptualize external objects. Having dwelt in correct contemplation, one thoroughly transcends mind-only. Having transcended mind-only, one thoroughly transcends the absence of appearance. The yogi who dwells in the absence of appearance sees the Great Vehicle. Entry is spontaneously accomplished and pacified. Purified by aspirations, the supreme wisdom of selflessness is not seen in the absence of appearance.' As stated in the Lankavatara Sutra, first there is no individual, then no object of grasping, then no grasper, and then even the wisdom of non-duality is not established. It is held that the four stages of yoga are meditated upon sequentially. Jowo Rinpoche holds that there are two kinds of selflessness. First, one meditates on the selflessness of the individual, as the self of the individual is not even established as a mere conventional truth. Outsiders impute a self and what belongs to the self, mostly clinging to the self, and to a lesser extent, clinging to what belongs to the self. If examined, it is not established, but if one is not mindful, the thought of 'I' arises. Therefore, Bangung Gyal said that the self of the individual is like someone hiding, which is a sign of thought. Clinging to the self: 'If there is a self, then one knows another. From the distinction of self and other, attachment and hatred arise. From the connection of these two, all faults occur.' As it is said, because it is the root of all faults and suffering, one should meditate on emptiness. Even if one encounters someone in the dark, if asked who it is, they will answer 'It is I.' Therefore, what causes one to enter suffering is only clinging to the self, so one must abandon it. Regarding this: 'If there is acceptance of things as real, unbearable desire and hatred arise. One holds onto wrong views. From that, disputes arise. That is the cause of all views. Without it, afflictions do not arise. Therefore, if one fully knows it, one abandons views and afflictions.' As stated in the Ornament of the Middle Way, one must meditate on emptiness that is separate from all acceptance of things as real. Moreover, whatever one is grossly attached to,
