It is said that it is not the view of the ground. Then how is it? The small and medium individuals are like the branches or roots of the supreme individual. It is said that the lower path is the upper path, and the upper path is a branch of the upper path. Relying on this, Khenpo Paldenpa says that there is a secret instruction about the cycle of the three individuals. What is that? The realization of the small individual is to be afraid of the three lower realms, and thus abandon the causes of non-virtue. This is an indispensable basis for the upper two, so it is not to be abandoned. Then, is there no difference in everything? If one thinks that just that is enough, then that thought is to be abandoned. The medium and great individuals are not completely contradictory in everything. In the time of the medium individual, if there is a realization that all of samsara is suffering, then that is a part of the great individual. Without that, the mind of the great individual cannot be generated. Therefore, know that the mind of the great individual also arises in dependence on that. Just because samsara has no beginning and no end, I also wander in samsara. At that time, there is not a single sentient being who has not been my mother. Because they have been mothers, they have taken turns to bestow kindness, so those very kind old mothers, it would be good if they had happiness, but they have no happiness, because they suffer in the place where they suffer. Because one knows the faults of samsara, one can also know the object of compassion. If one does not have the realization of the medium individual, and sees one's own samsara as a place of happiness, and wants to liberate sentient beings, then what is that if not an enemy? Subodova said so. Therefore, there is no reason to generate compassion for sentient beings who are dwelling in a place of happiness. If sentient beings do not have the concept of mother, then the mind that cannot bear their suffering will not arise. Relying on knowing that samsara is suffering and knowing that sentient beings are mothers, from one's own experience, unbearable suffering arises for others who are suffering. Just like "How I am, know that all sentient beings are also like that," therefore the mind of the great individual completely depends on the realization of the small and medium individuals. Therefore, the real path is that of the great individual, but its root is the small and medium individuals. Therefore, those holy individuals of the Kadampa lineage of Jowo, practice the Dharma of the small and medium individuals as the root of the Dharma, therefore they become true practitioners, and realization will definitely arise, that is the point here. Thus, one's own mind arises from all existence, and thus the thought of wanting to abandon its cause

Once truly entering practice, they will be made to train in the single vehicle. Regarding this, Sharawa once said: One cannot be completely liberated from samsara without attaining Buddhahood, because the nature to be realized is only one. If the realization of it does not reach the ultimate, one will be attached to reality, and therefore cannot be completely liberated. And the one whose realization reaches the ultimate is only the Buddha. Some say that Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas also have liberation, but this is like not being able to become rich without reaching the edge of a cliff. If they are not temporarily guided into those paths, they cannot enter the Mahayana. To guide them, it is like Indra manifesting an island when a ship is damaged in the middle of the ocean. Therefore, the Bhagavan himself said in the Mahayana Sutras: If I teach various vehicles, sentient beings will have partiality and be stingy towards the Dharma. In that way, they will not be able to attain Buddhahood, so I did not teach various vehicles. The scriptures say there are winding paths and straight paths. For the winding path, there is no need to repeat it twice, once is enough. The winding path refers to entering the Shravaka path and obtaining the fruit, but then needing to relearn the Mahayana path from the beginning. Then, if it is said that there are three things: definite goodness, excellence, and enlightenment, are the enlightenments of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas not fruits? They are not ultimate fruits. Even if they are of the Shravaka and Pratyekabuddha lineage, they can rely on the power of accumulating merit, meet a Mahayana spiritual friend, and immediately transform from the accumulation path itself into the Mahayana. Immediately enter the path of preparation, the path of seeing, and can transform to the Arhat state with remainder of aggregates. Some say that it cannot be transformed from the state of Nirvana without remainder, but according to this school's view, even if one enters Nirvana without remainder, it is believed that it can be transformed, because the Buddha will urge them to take a mind-made body, and then guide them with altruistic intention, make them accumulate merit, and thus combine with the Mahayana. In this way, if one obtains the fruit of the Hinayana and then practices the Mahayana path, then, again and again, because of the manifestation of one's own mind, in order to manifest joy in Nirvana, they are said to have slow realization. As it is said in the Ornament of the Sutras, again and again one's own mind manifests.
