It is said that the gods must experience seven sevens of suffering, just as from where they arise, etc. Regarding this, Sharawa said: When ascending higher and having a long life, the suffering of seeing signs of death is immense. At that time, knowing that after transferring from the heavenly abode, most will be reborn in the lower realms, the mental suffering is like a broken heart. Seeing one's own goddess and retinue being taken away by other gods, the suffering of jealousy is also immeasurable. More than focusing on mindfulness, at the time of death, being afflicted by a feverish disease, it is said that the suffering is sixteen times greater than that of hell beings, and it is said that this is also mental suffering. All of the Four Great Kings and the Thirty-three Gods of the desire realm have immeasurable suffering from internal heavenly battles and struggles with Asuras. Because the gods have great power and splendor, the suffering of the weak being suppressed is also immeasurable. The so-called poor gods, although counted among the beings of the god realm, there are many who are like pretas without distinction. Even if born in the higher realms, most of them fall into the lower realms again. Even if they do not fall into the lower realms, they will fall into the lower desire realms. If the concept of arising is manifested, and meditation and formless samadhi are practiced, then all those born in the higher two realms, knowing that they must take birth again at the time of death, abandon liberation and fall into Avici hell. Those at the peak of existence are all accomplished by the concept of arising, therefore they only fall into Avici hell. It is said. Thus, wherever they are born, there is no happiness. Even if there is something that seems slightly happy, the Ornament of the Sutras says: "Joy in existence is reversed, happiness is deceptive." In this way, happiness is reversed into suffering, and change, that is, impermanence, is a deceptive dharma. Sharawa said: In the past, I was also born as a god in the peak of existence, and lived for eighty-four thousand great kalpas, and was deceived countless times. Then I was born in the lower realms again. Even if I am born there now, I will be deceived. The Abhidharma only mentions eighty thousand, nothing else. The Sutra of Increasing Wisdom says eighty-four thousand and forty-three thousand, etc., adding thousands to all four formless realms. In the three formless realms and above the second dhyana, there are no lords and servants.

Everything is good and equal. In these, one has been born and deceived, with no end in sight, and is still being deceived. From the first dhyana to all six desire realms, there are lords and servants. Among the chief deities of these realms, one has been born and deceived, with no end in sight. Now, one should meditate by applying each deception one by one. Being born as a universal monarch, a king of a realm, a minister, a caravan leader, a wealthy person, or a chief householder, one is also deceived, and the deception is similar to the previous ones. Countless times one has been deceived as a great Brahmin priest, or by obtaining great power through reliance on secret mantras of outsiders, or by obtaining the eight great siddhis, or by obtaining the five mundane abhijñas. Even if one obtains them now, one will still be deceived. It is most difficult to be born as a human, but even if one is reborn as a human, the bones accumulated from dying would be higher than the king of mountains. The blood accumulated would be more than the four great oceans. The mother's milk drunk and the tears cried by friends after death have also been surpassed, and one has been deceived. Thus, in the happy realms, it is only a matter of seeking meaning. The three lower realms are like permanent dwellings. Among the lower realms themselves, hell is like a permanent dwelling. If liberation is not attained, one should know that one must still do the same. The peak of existence and Avīci are no different, or one should meditate on being in the copper pot of Avīci. Having meditated in this way, certainty arises, and knowing that samsara is like a terrible prison and not a place to stay, as previously shown, one must engage in abandoning the origin of that, which is the samudaya. There are two samudayas: the samudaya of karma and the samudaya of kleshas. Ignorance of suchness is inherent, and on top of that, ignorance of karma and its results, craving for happiness and aversion to suffering, and non-virtuous karma—these three cause the suffering of the three lower realms. Ignorance of suchness, craving, and virtuous karma—these three accomplish the bodies of gods and humans in the desire realm. Ignorance of suchness, unwavering karma, samadhi without wisdom, and attachment to joy and bliss—these three accomplish the gods of the form and formless realms.
