According to tradition, when Jowo prayed to Dombhibawa, he blessed him without meeting him. Later, a mantra practitioner prayed to him, and he said, "I have no connection with you. I have a disciple, a monk like this, whom I blessed, and that night he had such a dream and attained such samadhi and merits. You have a connection with him, so pray to him." Then, that mantra practitioner offered some mandalas to Jowo, stayed for a few days, and soon said that the Heruka mandala had appeared, saying that it had appeared through seeing the Dharma. Also, the story of the novice who served the Khenpo and watched the Dharma, and when visiting the temple, directly came before the deity, the executioner of Yama, (the deity) said, "Your interruption of meditation is this." These two stories, and after telling the stories of the Elder Gold-So and Khu-dol, in this way, when giving instructions at the time when wisdom increases in others' continuums, to the extent that others' wisdom increases, to that extent one's own accumulation of wisdom is perfected. They explained the two greatnesses of clairvoyance, which are contained in the scriptures. Third, the greatness of eliminating one's own and others' obstacles and hindrances, which arises from the oral instructions, also from the mouth of Sharawa himself. To eliminate one's own obstacles and hindrances, clairvoyance is also necessary, just like the story of Master Padmasambhava. Two attendants went to the Auspicious Mountain to see Jomo (Tara), and on the mountainside, they saw two old women spinning thread. When they went to the top of the mountain, they saw nothing. When viewing the tantra of the arising of Tara, it was shown that they were the previous two old women. There they requested oral instructions, and the attendant, because of great faith, attained accomplishment. The master, because of great wisdom, doubted the oral instructions and did not attain accomplishment. Then, Jomo said, "Now you will not attain accomplishment in this life, so serve King Indrabodhi as a patron, and make the yogini Mehaara of low caste your yogini and practice." He did so, but did not attain accomplishment in practice. When he looked with clairvoyance at what had caused the obstacles, it turned out that the master was also of royal lineage, but by making a yogini of low caste his yogini, the master's lineage declined and became low caste.

fell. Because he was taken as a teacher, the king also fell. There, the whole country was seized by the sorrow of falling, and he knew that this was an obstacle. Knowing this, he said to the king, "Go and ask the worldly people if there is any way to restore the lineage." It is said that although it is said to be worldly people, it is actually asking the Brahmins who recite the Vedas that protect the throne. The king asked, and (the Brahmin) said, "If the master and the yogini are burned together, the lineage can be restored." When he could not recite this sentence, the master asked, "What is the benefit of entrusting it to the worldly people?" (The king) said, "Recite it!" After saying this, he asked again, "What is the benefit of entrusting it to the worldly people?" (The king) said, "In any case, do it like this!" So he piled up a lot of sandalwood and did it like this. (The king) said, "Do not extinguish the fire for seven days." It is said that after seven days, the fire was extinguished with a lot of milk, and when he looked, from a huge lotus box, the master and the yogini transformed into the forms of gods and goddesses and ascended into the sky. Eliminating the obstacles and hindrances of others is also the work of those with supernatural powers, such as Aryadeva, in order to remove the obstacles of Master Asvaghosa, had him write the Essence of the Eight Limbs. We do not know what connection there is between these two." Second, regarding learning with the mind of the cause, showing that one must strive for the cause because of the greatness of the fruit, recognizing the cause itself, explaining the method of striving for it, and showing that supernatural powers arise from the accomplishment of calm abiding, there are four points. The first point is: "The merit of those who possess supernatural powers day and night, what is it? Those who are separated from supernatural powers will not have it even in a hundred lifetimes. Those who want to quickly perfect the accumulation of enlightenment must strive to accomplish supernatural powers; laziness will not accomplish it." Thus it is said. That is to say, just as King Ashoka gathered many male and female yakshas with supernatural powers and built countless stupas in Jambudvipa in one night, as mentioned before, the accumulation of perfect merit that a person with supernatural powers accumulates in a short period of time day and night is what those who are separated from supernatural powers accumulate in a hundred lifetimes.

Moreover, perfection does not exist. Therefore, those who wish to quickly perfect the accumulations of enlightenment must cultivate vast supernormal knowledges. And if one strives for the cause of supernormal knowledge, supernormal knowledge will be accomplished. If one is lazy and devoid of effort in the cause, supernormal knowledge will never be accomplished. Thus it is said. Spuilbu said: For this, one needs to practice meditation, now is the time to eat one's own flesh. Geshe Tonpa at that time thought that he should definitely practice all the offerings. Now it seems that people of medium or higher faculties will have the idea of explaining with the thoughts of this life. He said that for the lowest, there is never any meaning. Second, identifying the cause itself: Without achieving calm abiding, supernormal powers will not be achieved. Therefore, in order to achieve calm abiding, one must strive again and again. Thus it is said. So, what is the cause of striving for the cause? Without obtaining the substance, there is no supernormal knowledge. In this way, if the substance of calm abiding meditation, which is the cause, is not achieved, then the result, vast supernormal knowledge, will not be achieved, therefore, the cause of supernormal knowledge is the achievement of the substance of calm abiding meditation. Because one desires to obtain the result, vast supernormal knowledge, in order to cultivate the calm abiding of the substance of meditation, which is the cause. Until that calm abiding is obtained, like rubbing wood to get fire. One should always strive diligently. In this way, one should strive again and again. That is, one needs to practice with respect for a long time without interruption. Sharawa said: If you cultivate calm abiding, you also need an uninterrupted object of focus. It won't work if you do it like an old horse chewing grass. When Putowa went to the monastery, he also spoke of the boasting of yogis, but now he is distracted by various evil deeds, and it is not possible to stay without just briefly chasing the object of focus. We just barely don't lose our minds, and we think that the object of focus is stable during meditation. But as soon as we stand up, we say, did the calf drink milk, did the field eat, did the horse give grass, that won't work either. Therefore, do not be interrupted by any worldly evil deeds,
