"What if it is not abandoned?" and so on, it is said that they should be applied one by one. Jowo (Tibetan, Venerable, referring to Atisha) said: "If the aspiration Bodhicitta is abandoned and then retaken, it can be taken six times, the first and the seventh. After that, it cannot be retaken. If it is not abandoned, then no matter how much you practice, you are training in Bodhicitta. If the entering Bodhicitta is abandoned and then retaken, it can be taken twice, the first and the third. After that, it cannot be retaken." It is said that this is also recorded in the scriptures. If it is not certain whether it will be abandoned or whether it will arise, it cannot be retaken. There is nothing more important than Jowo's teachings. It is said that not doing so would make those things obstacles to the Dharma. The practitioner Wangchuk Wo of Radreng asked Geshe Gonpawa for Bodhicitta, and after that, he abandoned the aspiration Bodhicitta. When he was residing in Ena of Putowa, he asked for the key instructions. At that time, Putowa and Kyenchawa did not allow it. It is said that you should take it in front of a statue of the Tathagata, or in front of the stupa of Gonpawa, whichever you feel happy with. It is said that "I, Seutungwa, feel happy in front of my own stupa, so I will take it in front of it," and then he gave the key instructions for taking the vows there. If relatives and friends arrive during the practice session, do not transmit the vows. It is said that asking Geshe Dromton for the time of practice would take a very long time. It is said that if you can keep the precepts of the aspiration Bodhicitta, there will be no root downfalls, and it will take a very long time. It seems that he considered it longer than the precepts of the aspiration Bodhicitta, and he did not say to cut it off with a lotus. Pukungwa asked Yerpa, and he said, "I have already asked Jowo, together," it is said that he said that. In the Geshe's sayings, recorded in the "Meaningful Guidance of the Stages of the Path," it explains in detail the previous meaning, which contradicts the precepts of morality. Being attached to gain and respect, using actions such as praising oneself and slandering others as means, there are eight types, and using thoughts as means, there are four types. Among them, there are two types caused by desire: the thought of hoping to gain profit, and praising oneself and slandering others because of things, both of which will abandon (Bodhicitta). This requires three conditions: to do it continuously without interruption, to feel happy and satisfied, and to consider it a virtue. If there is not even a little bit of shame and fear, then it is caused by being controlled by great afflictions. Therefore, if the time of practice is exceeded, (Bodhicitta) will be abandoned, so one should take the vows again. Other than that, moderate transgressions should be confessed to three people, and the rest should be confessed to one person. It is not an affliction, but like one's own mind. The action is: that

If shame and embarrassment arise when urged by others, it is middling; if it arises by oneself, it is small; if there is nothing, it becomes great, said the teacher Bodhibhadra. Like a compassionate king of medicine, there is no fault in praising oneself, but now there is no attendant. It is very difficult because there is no attendant like the one Buddha said Devadatta was evil. Therefore, as asked by Upagupta: How do I measure myself and not slander the wisdom of others? Measure oneself as if comparing oneself to a mountain or a non-mountain. There is no slander, and no excessive pride. Thus it is said, so it is said that it is very important to recognize one's own characteristics. Constantly measure whether you have faith in the Dharma, respect for cause and effect and discipline. If one knows one's limits, jealousy and so on will not arise. Second, relying on attachment: To those who are suffering and helpless, being stingy and not giving Dharma and wealth. Thus it is said, even though one has the ability, being stingy towards such people and not giving Dharma or wealth, or hiding and not teaching, is also a downfall. This refers to those who seek the Dharma, being stingy and not giving. One should not teach the Dharma to those who are disrespectful. Being stingy and not giving wealth, in general, one needs to not abandon beggars. Like the fierce northern gate, it is not right to take from those who have no harm and give to those who have no benefit. It is also not right to give excessively to those who do not need it, so it is said not to fall into either extreme. Relying on hatred: Even if others confess, not listening, angrily attacking others. This is because not accepting patience leads to downfall. In the past, a yogi was causing rain, and a layperson debated with him, and the layperson defeated the yogi, and the yogi did not accept the layperson's apology. Just like before, when the snake from the spring came to the rainmaker, because he did not accept the apology, it did not rain. Jowo (Atisha) also did this to the abbot of Vikramashila Monastery, and the abbot was not happy, saying that I had no fault. This is very dangerous, so from the beginning, one should learn not to come into conflict with anyone. If it happens, it should be like a snake appearing in one's lap. Attacking others will always lead to downfall. Relying on ignorance: Abandoning the Mahayana, teaching what appears to be similar to the Dharma. Whether abandoning the common or the individual, one will fall. In Tibet, there is no abandoning of the common. Abandoning the individual based on philosophical tenets
