If one thinks that the gains are different, even though the rituals are different, they are not different in meaning. Then, what is the true meaning of the statement about the number of root downfalls? The tradition of the Noble Ones is the true meaning. The eight points for beginners mentioned in the Sutra of Akashagarbha are mostly included in the precepts of aspiration. The precepts for kings and ministers are mostly included in the common Pratimoksha vows. Explaining emptiness to beings who have not trained their minds, and so on, is shown as a root downfall considering the severity of the offense. Even if these occur, the vows are not lost. Therefore, it is said that the true meaning is the tradition of the Noble Ones. Thus, the vows are promised. Third, the method of learning the precepts is divided into two parts: the connection of learning the precepts and the actual explanation of the precepts. The first part is: One's own body, speech, and mind are the cause of purity, abiding in the vows of the nature of the entering mind. As promised in the ritual before, one's own body, speech, and mind are the cause of becoming pure without being defiled by the side of non-virtue, and also vowing to learn the precepts of the sons of the Buddhas, abiding in the vows of the Bodhisattva's discipline of the nature of the entering mind, therefore, those precepts should be explained. Khenpo Palden said: One's own body, speech, and mind are the cause of purity, abiding in the entering vows, and the purity of body, speech, and mind themselves are the entering vows. Second, regarding the actual explanation of its precepts, Sharawa the Great said: The precepts of entering are explained here as three precepts, and all precepts are included there. The Ornament of the Sutras says: Having mastered the three trainings, the Victorious Ones truly explained the six perfections, the first three, the last two, there are two kinds, one belongs to all three. It is said that the six perfections are included in this. The six perfections include the three objects of merit, the two accumulations, the four objects of gathering, and so on. Lhabtön and others say that they are summarized into two accumulations, and they can also be summarized into two accumulations. The first two are the accumulation of merit, and the last is the accumulation of wisdom. As it is said, here the basis for the Bodhisattvas to learn is
