It is said that Bala also had a belief that seemed to be particularly convinced. Zhang Nachung Tonpa once said to Atisha that no matter when he asked for teachings, he would say, "Doing good deeds will not work." Geshe Tonpa said that Zhang Sengge Wo did not understand that. Atisha's essential teaching is that. Putowa emphasized in the upper part of Anyul that if you do not believe that, then meditate on a red Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om) character castle on a battlefield-like place in the middle of the moon. They all said that. No matter how much we talk about the benefits of bodhicitta, you do not believe it. The master always resided as a tantric yogi, and from practicing karma and its results to practicing bodhicitta, he would say, "I am dying, I am dying," and then give teachings by nodding his head. That is also the lineage of tantric practitioners. It seems that he has taken on the karmic inheritance of tantra itself. The two Dharma brothers and all the people in the Khampa region met a master like Geshe Tonpa, and they made the practice of the wisdom of the three types of individuals of the Paramita path their teaching, and did not seek other superficial teachings. Therefore, because we do not have great wisdom, we do not seek other teachings, but practice this. By practicing this, if genuine bodhicitta arises, it may become a vessel for tantra. If that happens, you will meet a virtuous friend who will bestow that teaching. Second, in order to constantly generate and cultivate bodhicitta, learn to engage in cultivating that mind through understanding its qualities. Showing the actual practice. Showing the benefits of increasing immeasurable merit from generating and cultivating that bodhicitta, divided into two parts and three parts. The first part is: Reading that sutra or listening to it from a master, the perfect bodhicitta has immeasurable qualities, after fully understanding, then it becomes the reason. It is said like this. Then, how can one know those doors of benefits spoken of in the sutras? From where can one know the qualities or benefits of bodhicitta? If one can understand by reading the Sutra of the Tree, then read it oneself, and if one cannot understand, then listen to the words and meanings of that sutra from a master. From that sutra, the fruit

It is said that the aspiration to vow for perfect enlightenment has the power of all the infinite qualities in the realm of the fruit, the Buddha. One should fully understand this. In order to generate and abide the beneficial Bodhicitta in one's own continuum, one should constantly train in cultivating this mind, just as the cause and condition will be explained. To this, Sharawa said, "Even if understood, the difference in the excellence of wisdom is different between what we observe ourselves and what we listen to the lama." Therefore, it is said to listen from the lama and examine it, and one should also observe oneself. Second, the actual teaching of cultivation: Thus, again and again, generate the mind. As it is said, just as training a craftsman and training a precious gem, in order to generate the ungenerated beneficial mind, cultivating the mind and accumulating merit through the order of the three types of individuals is cultivating the cause. In order to make the generated abide and increase, at least three times a day and three times a night, for the benefit of sentient beings, one should think, "I must attain perfect Buddhahood," and thus meditate on Bodhicitta. Or, at least, one should constantly abide in the Samadhi of Bodhicitta, which is cultivating one's own nature. Just as the outside of a sapphire is covered with bonds, by cultivating and removing the bonds, making it the nature of the sapphire itself, everything from the thoughts of this life to the unfavorable aspects of the six perfections are unfavorable aspects of Bodhicitta. Therefore, cultivating and removing all of this is cultivating the unfavorable aspects. Thus, through the three doors of cultivating the cause, one's own nature, and the unfavorable aspects, again and again, generate Bodhicitta in one's own continuum. Among them, the method of cultivating the cause has already been explained in detail above. Cultivating one's own nature is to generate Bodhicitta by offering the key of having loving-kindness and compassion, (so it says): Extremely blazing, fallen into the hands of enemies, oppressed by suffering, obscured by darkness, entering difficult paths, fully connected with great bonds, attached to delicious food mixed with poison, the path has been completely lost, extremely fallen into wrong paths, have compassion for sentient beings with little strength. Thus, the Ornament of Sutras speaks of ten objects of compassion.
