Transcending the Ground. The Once-Returner is mostly liberated from the afflictions of the desire realm. The Non-Returner breathes freely, having abandoned all afflictions. The Arhat has transcended all afflictions of the three realms, which are like a place of suffering. According to the Mahayana view, one transcends the world upon attaining the Path of Seeing. Upon attaining the Seventh Ground, one is liberated from the bonds of signs. From the three Fruitional Grounds, one breathes freely as things are spontaneously accomplished without signs. In the Buddha Ground, one has transcended all that is to be abandoned, which is like a place of suffering, and one must work for the benefit of all Bodhisattvas. It is said that the three types of individuals must be placed on the three vehicles. It is said that other rituals will be understood when experiencing karma. Third, explaining the subsequent instructions. Potowa said, "Although learning from the instructions comes first, is what is explained first called the order of explanation?" As the great Sharawa said, having generated such a mind, one should train in five trainings: always training in the mind of enlightenment; always meditating on the benefits of the mind of enlightenment for the sake of accomplishing the essence of training the mind; striving in the activities of the two accumulations in order to generate the mind that has not arisen, and to prevent the mind that has arisen from diminishing and to increase it; abandoning the cause of losing the mind of enlightenment, which is abandoning hatred towards sentient beings; abandoning the four black dharmas and training in their antidotes, the four white dharmas. Among these, the order is slightly different here. First, showing the meditation on the benefits: "The virtues of generating such an aspiration mind are well explained by Maitreya in the Sutra of the Arrayed Tree." As it is said, immediately after showing the ritual of the preliminary and main practices, such an aspiration mind that vows on the result, as Sharawa said, is not just doing the ritual as a game, but someone who has trained the mind in the characteristics of the three types of individuals from many lifetimes ago, and who has transformed into a Mahayana lineage from accumulating immeasurable merit, here also relies on a noble individual, trains the mind, accumulates merit, and at the time of the ritual also receives the ritual properly from a virtuous friend who is in accordance with the Dharma, the merits or benefits of generating it.
