It is said that one should not act in that way, that is the oral instruction. One must act in that way. It is also not permissible for the Buddha images in the Kham region to face backwards. It is also not permissible to knock off or destroy even the smallest fragments of broken Tsa Tsas. One must act in that way. But now, while saying whether the consecration is good or bad and whether the craftsmanship is excellent or poor, it seems to be distinguishing all the objects of refuge. Everything comes from the blessings of the Buddha, so there is no good or bad craftsmanship or good or bad consecration. Just as it is said, "Who has seen the wrathful deity?" one should not think that for a certain object of taming, the very thing that is not good will become meaningful. Appropriately, when acting as a messenger to find funds for the stupa, Jowo appeared in a dream, and the two statues of White Tara and Green Tara that were built, if compared to the current statues in Lhasa, are only like clay sculptures, but are great in terms of blessings. Everything is the blessing of the Buddha, just like the story that happened when King Image-Heart sent back gifts. From the very beginning of generating the mind, one has been blessed. Phu Chungwa said, "For me, there is one way of looking at deities. I think of our refuge as the supreme." The supreme refuge has no good or bad. Even if one disrespects the elderly, one will abandon the refuge. If one invites the Buddha image from a place of suffering, but does not place it in a place of non-suffering, it is like putting one's father in prison, one should not do that. Rather than inviting a small amount, it is said that there is not even a chance to touch it, and even if one invites it, there is no place of non-suffering to place it. Buddha images and stupas cannot be valued. Now, if it is not impossible, then the merit of writing and building cannot be valued either. Spyil Bu Ba said, "All those who restore, first of all, must give the craftsman a little bit of meat, give a little bit of material for making, and must meet without cutting off the giving of mountains and not giving, etc." For all those who restore old things, the Sutra of the Dharma King says, "One must have these four thoughts: feeling pain for the Buddha image, feeling compassion for him, not being stingy with wealth, and wanting to gain merit for oneself." It seems difficult to do that, so is it only not restoring that is the oral instruction? One also thinks that way.

Then, they explained how to respect the supports of the Buddha. Regarding how to respect the supports of the Dharma, it was also said by the great Sharawa himself: For the supports of the Dharma, even a single letter should be cherished like the jewel on the crown of a Naga king or the pupil of an eye. When dividing the Dharma into the Greater and Lesser Vehicles, do not be lenient towards the Lesser Vehicle. Doing so does not count as respecting the Greater Vehicle. All Dharmas tend towards Suchness, flowing, flowing. Without the lower vehicle, there will be no greater vehicle. Building temples, giving generous rewards, and giving generous rewards to doctors who treat illnesses, and giving generous rewards to powerful deities who protect, are no different from offering oneself as ransom after being imprisoned. One should not be disrespectful towards old, annotated papers and all bad manuscripts. In the time of the great yogis, all books and questions, whether old or young, were prostrated to, flowers were offered, and they were not allowed to be read without permission, so that blessings would not be lost. Therefore, we ourselves should not act arbitrarily in all questioning, viewing, and reading without permission. Do not lower the value. All followers, because it is the abandonment of what is not needed for oneself, it is not allowed. Now, for the wealthy, it is doing business. Like copper coins, karshapanas, and wool, all values are determined by this. For those that are inferior to these, animal skins and leather are used as substitutes. Some say "golden Dharma" or "this and that," some sell mantras, some sell the Vinaya, and some sell logic. They say they only believe in the Compendium of Trainings, and think that in the final five hundred years, they should learn and protect themselves so that they do not decline, but they do not have such thoughts. They only want to do business. They are worried that the thirteen harms will occur, or that the recorded numbers are not enough. In reality, there may be about twenty-six harms. Giving away scriptures is counted as practice. We people, use butter as a substitute for offerings, and the offerers are ashamed of making offerings. The receivers also think that butter is more important, doing so is not practice, but playing with the Dharma. They put me in the front row and put generous offerings in front of me. Then, if they do not do as they wish, they say I have no practice. They mock with a handful of leaves, but I mock them with learning.
