Moreover, besides those of their own kind, all others appear as enemies, causing fear and suffering. All interactions with humans involve being helplessly driven by others, kicked and beaten with hands and feet, struck and prodded with sticks and hooks. As it is said, they are made to toil whether they are tired or not, and they are broken whether they are broken or not, all without choice. All food and drink depend on human hands, so they have no autonomy. All beatings and scoldings are done as if they were inanimate objects, which is the suffering of being harmed by humans. The suffering of harming each other internally is also immeasurable. No matter where they are born among the animal species, it is only suffering. Regarding their lifespan, animals can live up to a kalpa at most. For example, the lifespan of all the Naga kings and other dragons can last for a kalpa. Some animals exhaust their lifespan, but it is not over, and they have to take this body three times a day. One must begin with mindfulness. For example, the worms on the back of an old horse are eaten by crows and die as soon as they are born. Again, worms are born on the back. They are also dug out and eaten by crows, and after dying, they are born there again. Like this, their lifespan is extremely short. Among them, some can live for years and months, some can live for days and months, some can live for days and nights, etc. There is no absolute certainty about their lifespan. As it is said, a low state of existence, whether long or short, is suffering. As long as they live, they suffer inherently. Moreover, obtaining a human body is said to be more difficult than one person being able to circle all the realms of the world. Thinking that all these sufferings will fall upon oneself, it is unbearable. Having thought this way, having faith in the result, one contemplates from what cause they arose and how ignorant they are. Regarding this, Sharawa said, all these did not arise without a cause, were not created by a creator, and did not arise from discordant causes, but are the result of karma. Moreover, the results of virtuous and non-virtuous karma will separately produce happiness and suffering. From the differences between virtue and non-virtue, different kinds of happiness and suffering will arise separately, and this is experiencing the results of karma. Moreover, the results of one's own actions ripen on the cause of one's own aggregates, so karma is the characteristic of being one's own. Sopoche Jangyal said, "The tongue that commits sins will be pulled out here."

It is said that it is unreasonable to say that a tongue that speaks innocently to others will not bring karmic results. Whatever continuum of consciousness takes as its basis and creates karma, it is the nature of things that it matures in whatever body it later takes. In the scriptures, an Arhat said, "My hand," and cherished his right hand very much. When asked why, he said, "In the past, I touched another's wife with my hand, so I was born with a crippled hand for five hundred lifetimes. This time is the only time I have been born with a hand." The actions of sentient beings, Will not be wasted for hundreds of kalpas, When the accumulation and time arrive, They will ripen into their own fruit. As it is said, until it is destroyed by the opponent force and the fruit is not taken out, karma has the nature of not being wasted. This is like the nyagrodha tree and its seed, or the ashvattha tree and its seed, from a small cause comes a great fruit, so it has the nature of great increase of cause and effect. The great increase is all that has been shown before, and keeping the pure fasting for one day and one night will obtain one lifetime of a human or a god, and killing one animal will be reborn in a place of revival, etc. It is said that one day and one night also has nine million human years. After taking vows, even if one violates a small offense, one will experience the suffering of that one day and one night, so apply each of these and meditate. This is also from the mindfulness of placement, "The monk who is skilled in the fruit of karma sees with the wisdom born of hearing or the eye of the gods." As it is said, now that we do not have clairvoyance, we must practice by taking only the words of the Tathagata as a measure. As it is said, just as relying on the inference of the scriptures, we believe that happiness and suffering are the results of karma, we abandon the cause of bad destinies and accomplish the cause of good destinies. Among them, the cause of bad destinies that should be abandoned is what the sutra says: "Killing will lead sentient beings to hell, to the place of animals, to the world of Yama." The remaining non-virtuous actions, such as not giving and taking, sexual misconduct, lying, divisive speech, harsh speech, idle talk, covetousness, malice, and wrong views, should all be applied one by one, and the ten non-virtuous actions that are spoken of should be avoided as much as possible.
