Once it is so, it is the time to generate the vows of a Bhikshu, so it is bestowed. When such a thought arises, drying up the ocean of existence is effortless, like water after a drought, and one's own liberation from suffering is at ease. Because at that time, one is permanently liberated from suffering, even without attaining Buddhahood. For this, one must also rely on sentient beings. Even if one has attained liberation, relatives are still immersed in the ocean of samsara, appearing as if fallen into an abyss, abandoning those who cannot be recognized due to the transmigration of birth and death, if one only seeks one's own liberation, there is nothing more shameless than that. In this way, abandoning those who are close sentient beings, if one only strives for one's own liberation, know that there is nothing more shameless than that. Having love for all sentient beings, and cultivating compassion based on one's own experience, like compassion falling into the mouth of a snake, or like a mother who has swallowed poison, without measuring whether one has the ability or whether sentient beings can bear it, but thinking of the suffering of sentient beings, when the mind reaches the point of being able to vow to generate great Bodhicitta, then the vow of aspiration Bodhicitta arises, so it is bestowed. Therefore, the wave of compassion increases even more, and attaining Buddhahood is even faster. To obtain the result, one must engage in the cause, so once the thought arises to engage in the cause—the practice of the Paramitas—without hesitation, then entry (into the Bodhisattva path) arises and (the Bodhisattva vow) is bestowed. Therefore, the wave of compassion increases even more, and attaining Buddhahood is even faster. If one wants to achieve this by quickly understanding the secret mantra, one should examine his karmic connections and capacity. If it is suitable, let him enter the door of secret mantra; if it is not suitable, do not let him enter. Therefore, a lama with clairvoyance is needed. Entering the secret mantra itself also seems to have a sequence that relies on the four classes of tantras. Therefore, it is said that in the Kadampa tradition, after learning this sequence of mind training and reaching this level, one receives these vows, there is such a sequence, which comes from the teachings of Sharawa the Great. Therefore, the great Geshe Sharawa himself also became a monk at the age of eighteen, and then went to Tsang to study the Great

Thinking that he must thoroughly learn the mantras, in the summer, he went to the place where Putowa was residing in Taglung Tang. After listening to this Dharma assembly, he made up his mind that he did not intend to enter the mantras in this life. That winter, he listened to a "Compendium of Trainings," and it seemed that even the idea of becoming the lord of his uncle's place—the chief—was cut off there. Geshe himself said, "Initially, I had thought of going to Tsang Tsana in Tibet to learn some mantras, but he finished those words all at once, and I completely gave up on mantras. In Bensa, my understanding was not wrong. Now, no matter how much I recite, it seems that there will be no time to completely give up. After that, he spoke the 'Compendium of Trainings,' saying that he had completely given up on being the chief." 3) Explaining the characteristics of the three types of individuals separately. Explaining the characteristics of the three types of individuals separately, divided into three The characteristics of the lesser individual. The characteristics of the lesser or lowest individual are: "Whatever person, by whatever means, only for the happiness of samsara, strives for their own sake, that is known as the lowest individual." As it is said. It means that a person who is born among humans, has obtained leisure and endowments, and therefore can become a basis for propagating the Dharma, because they believe in the greatness of karma and its results, they abandon evil and abide in the path of practicing the ten virtuous actions, the method is that the result obtained by any means is only for the happiness of samsara, and they themselves also want to enjoy such happiness, and strive for this purpose, then this person is the lesser or lowest individual among the three types of individuals. That is to say, because of the phrase "only for the happiness of samsara," it excludes the middling individual striving to obtain a basis for good rebirths in order to achieve liberation. Because of the phrase "strives for their own sake," it also excludes the Bodhisattva striving to obtain a basis for good rebirths for the benefit of others, this is the characteristic of the lesser or lowest individual. Regarding the method of learning it, the great Sharawa said, "The person called the lesser individual refers to someone who believes in cause and effect. As long as there is a genuine fear of the suffering of the three lower realms, they will abandon even the smallest evils that lead to these sufferings for the sake of their life. And this requires a genuine recollection of impermanence and death beforehand.
