It is said that he is the main deity. The reason for saying "oral instructions" is that everyone has faith in oral instructions, so do whatever you have faith in. Even with faith, one must still recite. Among them, for cases where it is said that reciting mantras with ten or fewer syllables one million times will bring these benefits, one must recite the number of millions corresponding to the number of syllables. For those exceeding this number, in times of dispute, it is also said to be three times, five times, or eight times. Focusing on the target, the difference between being able to endure and not being able to endure is significant. The rule of the Mahayana Paramita Vehicle is that, just as one perfects one's own accumulation of enlightenment and fully matures sentient beings through the six paramitas and the four ways of gathering disciples, similarly, relying on the method of the Mahayana Secret Mantra, relying on the four activities, one can also accomplish the eight great siddhis, thereby perfecting one's own benefit and also accomplishing the benefit of others. It is like worldly people saying that difficult things are like hanging the sky, or like the scriptures saying it is like taking the jewel from the crown of a Chakravartin. Although the benefits of Secret Mantra are great, it cannot be accomplished without a disciple who possesses the vessel and a teacher who possesses the qualifications. As Chennga said, we are like newborn babies who cannot eat meat and tsampa. To perform the four activities, one must have the ability to pacify one's own sins and afflictions, the ability to increase all white dharmas such as faith, the ability to gain control over one's own mind, and the ability to cut off the stubbornness of one's own mind, thereby pacifying the obstacles of others such as evil spirits, increasing lifespan and power, being able to subdue others, and for those who engage in great sins such as harming the Dharma, only with compassion can one perform activities such as killing, summoning, immobilizing, and expelling. The so-called completion of activities of the Kadampa school now is also included in these four activities, but it is not done at the appropriate time, but for the sake of making a living, which is even worse than doing business. Although doing business is a wrong livelihood for renunciants, the fault is small because it relies on an ordinary basis. This is a wrong livelihood based on the Dharma, so the fault is very great. This is creating the completion of activities that lead to hell.

Without these qualities, one cannot accomplish the four activities. If one acts solely out of compassion for others, even if one commits the seven non-virtuous actions according to the treatises on the Perfection of Wisdom, not only will there be no sin, but immeasurable merit will increase. Claiming to protect the teachings by acting out of attachment to protect one's own children will only lead to the means of falling into hell. Among the ways to accomplish the eight great siddhas through these four activities, this is counted as the excellent vase. There are also different ways of counting. The term 'ease' refers to the ease and proximity of the path in the Secret Mantra. There is no hope that all the ignorant will attain enlightenment. It is said that this is done by hand. Geshe Tonpa said: The path that is near is only the way of the Perfection of Wisdom. The Bodhisattva Sadāprarudita (Always Weeping) never stayed more than seven nights on an ordinary road. It is said that when he had traveled five hundred yojanas, the path of seeing arose. Therefore, in Nantar, it would not have taken more than a year. In Secret Mantra, if a qualified teacher and a qualified student receive and practice the undistorted instructions, and if their diligence is very strong and uninterrupted, then within twelve years they can attain the siddhi of Mahamudra. There is nothing more than that. In order to extol the greatness of Secret Mantra, one cannot attain accomplishment without empowerment. Even if one has not received empowerment before, one must receive empowerment at the time of enlightenment, because the Bodhisattvas of the ten bhumis are empowered by the rays of light from the Buddhas of the ten directions, which is also mentioned in the Perfection of Wisdom vehicle. The path of ease is only the path of the Perfection of Wisdom. There is rest. Entering the door of Secret Mantra is like being thrown into a wheel of weapons. It is said that there is no room for even a moment's distraction. As mentioned before, in the way of the Perfection of Wisdom, there is no rest for those who violate their vows. It is said that Putowa's arising of the wisdom of the path of seeing from the Perfection of Wisdom and the attainment of the siddhi of Mahamudra from Secret Mantra are the same in meaning. Therefore, doing the activities of Secret Mantra is...

Where do I come from? I come from the four tantras: the Kriya Tantra, the Charya Tantra, the Yoga Tantra, and the Anuttarayoga Tantra, which are called the Action Tantra, the Performance Tantra, and so on. Lord Atisha said: These four classes of tantras also correspond to the four classes of people. The four root classes are also the same. The Kriya Tantra corresponds to the Brahmins, so it mainly teaches bathing and purification. The Charya Tantra corresponds to the Vaishya caste. The Yoga Tantra corresponds to the Kshatriya caste. The Anuttarayoga Tantra corresponds to the Shudra caste. You Tibetans absolutely cannot practice relying on the three tantras. The Kriya and Charya Tantras must mainly focus on purification. Many Tibetan Gelongs (monks) only have the level of purification of a middling Avadhuta. To practice Secret Mantra Buddhism, one must abandon mundane conceptualizations, and there is nothing more lacking in Tibet than this. The Yoga Tantra is said to be slightly better. But in Tibet, this is only used as a tool for making a living, and not for achieving enlightenment through it. They only briefly explain the activities of the Great Vehicle Secret Mantra. Secondly, it is actually taught that to do these things, one must first receive empowerment. This is divided into two parts: first, one must please the guru, and after pleasing the guru, one becomes qualified to practice attainments through empowerment. The first part is: At that time, to cause the teacher to empower, with offerings of veneration and precious things, and with all things such as carrying out the instructions, please the holy guru. This means that when a Bodhisattva enters the door of the Great Vehicle Secret Mantra and wants to practice its practices, first, in order for the qualified teacher to empower, or in order to complete the teacher's empowerment, one should venerate the guru who is the object of empowerment in a way that brings happiness to the three doors, as Geshe Dromtönpa did for Jowo, and offer as many good things as possible, such as precious and priceless objects, through material offerings, and according to the teachings of the Four Noble Truths, as the guru says, one should follow the instructions of what to take and what to abandon, what to do and what to stop, through practice. In short, to make the guru
