There are many reasonings such as the "Ten Aggregates" and the "Sixty Reasonings," but they are not listed here because it is difficult to understand one's own tenets with just these, and there is fear of being suspected of having too much content. They said that the nature of all things, such as existence and non-existence, appearance and fame, samsara and nirvana, is established as unborn, and this is taken as the sole point of their meditation. Sharawa said, regarding how the teachers determined the meaning of the root of the Middle Way, Sharawa said: All those who followed Acharya Buddhapalita and his followers, and Acharya Lekdenjey and his followers, have determined the meaning of the teacher's Root Wisdom. All the Khenpos of Sharawa are the same. The "Essence of the Middle Way" by Lekdenjey is also to determine the meaning of the essence of the Root of the Middle Way. The "Entering the Middle Way" by Chandrakirti is also said to be entering into that meaning. Similarly, the "Ornament of the Middle Way" and the "Appearance of the Middle Way" are all said to clarify and manifest that meaning. Second, the method of abiding in the stream of realized wisdom includes two aspects: introducing the essential points of meditation and instructing how to abide in it. The first aspect is: Therefore, since the nature of all phenomena is not found, meditating on selflessness is the best view, and this is the meditation of wisdom. This is because, since all phenomena have been determined to be without self-nature by the above reasonings, therefore, by realizing that the nature of all phenomena, which are included in the grasped and the grasper, or included in the five aggregates, twelve sources, and eighteen elements, is not found in either real or unreal, therefore, meditating on the selflessness of persons and the selflessness of phenomena on them is the meditation of wisdom that knows the ultimate reality of all phenomena. Sharawa said: Their own sects assert that knowable forms, etc., are established as substantial entities of the grasped and the grasper, etc., and that they are empty of the person imputed by outsiders; the Yogachara school asserts that consciousness is established as a substantial entity of other-dependence, and that it is empty of both the grasper and the grasped. For these schools, there is no meditation on ultimate wisdom, because the Sutra and the Middle Way

In the treatises, it says, "Small emptiness is for the heretics." As it is said, contemplating that things and non-things are not established in any essence is the ultimate wisdom contemplation. Secondly, the instruction on how to abide in it is divided into two parts: things and explaining their reasons. The first part is: "Wisdom does not see the nature of all things, Likewise, explain the nature of wisdom, Contemplate that which is without discrimination." It means that if the knowable is established as without self-nature by wisdom, then is wisdom itself established as without self-nature or not? If it is not established, then all dharmas cannot be established as without self-nature. If it is established, then how is wisdom itself established as without self-nature? As shown before, with the wisdom of individual examination, examining all knowable dharmas, just as one does not see the self-nature of anything, likewise, the wisdom of individual examination itself should also be applied in the manner of being without self-nature. When things and non-things, Do not abide before the mind, At that time there is no other aspect, Completely pacified without an object. Moreover, in Atisha's Madhyamaka instructions, it says, "Just as fire arises from rubbing two pieces of wood, and when the wood is exhausted, the fire itself is extinguished." Through knowing that the knowable is not established, knowing itself also in the manner of self-pacification, one realizes that reality, emptiness. Therefore, in the Madhyamaka instructions, it says, "When all dharmas with self-characteristics and general characteristics are established as non-existent, wisdom itself is also without appearance and luminous, free from all elaborations, and not established in any essence." Therefore, eliminating all faults such as sinking and excitement, during that time, knowing does not discriminate anything, does not grasp anything, abandoning all mindfulness and attention, until the enemy of discrimination or the thief does not arise, one should abide in knowing in that way. As it is said, even for the mere activity of non-discriminating wisdom, one should abide and contemplate in non-discrimination. This is the meaning (of what was said above). Secondly, explaining the reason for it, it is divided into the reason why one must cultivate non-discrimination in order to abandon samsara and attain the supreme result of nirvana, and the two parts of establishing this reason with scriptural evidence.
