That is so. Furthermore, Sharawa said, "The last two trainings refer to the two lines 'Also in future lives.' Here, if the aspiration is obtained and not lost, then in future lives one may remember past lives and thus manifest. Even if it is not so, merely by arousing memory, it will manifest." As it is said. This precious bodhicitta, which possesses immeasurable benefits and qualities, just as it arises in this life through the two perfections of intention and action, in order to not forget in future lives and beyond, one should remember the above three trainings. Not only that, but if any of the four root downfalls and eight root downfalls of individual liberation, and the eight situations such as the root downfalls in Entering the Bodhisattva's Way of Life occur, just as one abandons those vows, one should abandon abandoning sentient beings. And if any of the four black dharmas occur, one should abandon the aspiration. If these five occur, the fault is greater than the root downfall of individual liberation, so in order to prevent these from occurring, as it is explained in the Sutra Requested by Kashyapa. The training is to abandon abandoning sentient beings and abandon the four black dharmas, and to train in the four white dharmas that are the antidotes to these. These last two trainings should also be fully protected without decline. Among these, the fourth, abandoning abandoning sentient beings, to this, the great Putowa said that the definition of abandoning sentient beings at that time is when one is displeased with any sentient being for any reason, and when one is devoid of compassion. Sometimes worldly people say, "You and I, alive, are not from the same door; dead, are not from the same tomb." Just like that, being devoid of compassion, even if one has the ability to help, one does not help; even if one has the ability to turn away from a state of heedlessness, one does not turn away, thinking that way is also (abandoning sentient beings). Because the vow of individual liberation is obtained from all sentient beings, if one kills a human being with complete limbs, it is like abandoning the vow obtained from all sentient beings. Since bodhicitta is obtained from all sentient beings, even if the love and compassion for all other sentient beings have not diminished, if one abandons one sentient being and exceeds a certain time, then the bodhicitta obtained from all sentient beings will be lost. Even abandoning a tiny animal will lose (bodhicitta). Therefore,

As an antidote, one should constantly cultivate loving-kindness and compassion towards all sentient beings, especially towards those who are in danger of being abandoned. One should focus on them and cultivate loving-kindness and compassion. From the beginning, one should be cautious to avoid conflicts with anyone. Now is the time when it is most important to protect one's own mind from being harmed, so even actions based on the intention to benefit others should be minimized, let alone other things. Benefiting others requires the control of a lama. If the lama does not control it well, then the act of compassion is likely to turn into hatred. The more actions one takes, the greater the risk of conflict. Even if a conflict occurs, one should especially focus on the other person and cultivate loving-kindness and compassion, and during the meditation session, one should be as gentle and tolerant as possible. It is said that when Geshe Wangsing was in Reting (Ra-sgreng) Monastery, he developed an unpleasant feeling towards someone, so he focused on that person and meditated on loving-kindness. As a result, the next day when he met that person again, he found him to be very likable. Just as Geshe Mangrawa constantly asked others for forgiveness, these are practical key instructions. It is never possible for us to avoid conflicts with others. If one remains silent during the meditation session and considers it a virtue, saying that it is to maintain the warmth of practice, then it is difficult to subdue afflictions with antidotes even during the meditation session. The scriptures say, "First examine whether it is appropriate, then decide whether to do it or not. Not doing it is the best, but once you have done it, do not retreat." Therefore, first, as mentioned before, understand all the teachings and make sure that you can integrate them into your practice, and then take a vow. Once you have made a commitment, you cannot use the excuse of not being able to complete it. As it is said, whether you can do it or not, you must do it. There is no fault in abandoning those who cannot be subdued, such as Jo-vBum, but even then, you cannot abandon your care for them in your heart. If your own mind is not harmed, then there is no fault even if you cannot help others. For example, Atisha satisfied the wishes of Jnanapada, but was resented by the abbot of Vikramashila, or like the Buddha and Devadatta on an island in the ocean, who were born with one body and two heads, and from then on formed a hatred. In all these cases, you must ensure that your own mind is not harmed. Now is the time for the
