After attainment, the Dharma of the master, such as the ten sciences, gradually arises in the continuum of beings, which is the real lamp. And the general concept of its sound and meaning appears, and it is written in writing, it is also called "Bodhipathapradipa" (Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment). The reason for this is that the master Dharmakirti said in the "Condensed Meaning of Eight Thousand Stanzas": 'Prajnaparamita is non-dual, wisdom is thus the Tathagata. For the sake of accomplishing that meaning, the path of the scriptures is its sound.' As it is said, in order to include all the meanings of the treatises in the name, the name is also written at the beginning. This is what Sharawa said. Putowa said: 'From now on, if you want a Lamdrön (Lamp for the Path), there is nothing other than these roots.'

The reason for upholding the precepts is to understand that this is the domain accessible only to the Omniscient One, and not the domain of any other treatise writers, Shravakas, Bodhisattvas, etc. Secondly, the root is Dharma, spoken by the Buddha and needed by the Sangha. Thirdly, it is spoken by the Buddha and needed by the Bodhisattvas. Fourthly, in reality, the compassion of all Buddhas is equal, but based on reputation, they are called compassionate, and it is understood that the object of compassion is suffering. Fifthly, in reality, the wisdom of all Buddhas is equal, but they are called wise. The Abhidharma is the nature of both defiled and undefiled wisdom. Sixthly, the reason why mantra is called secret is as it is said: 'There is no fault in the Dharma, but for those of inferior intellect, it is concealed by the means of great compassion.' It is to understand that one must learn as it is said. Among these, the beginning and the end are the only instructions. Whatever of the Vinaya, if practiced, interrupts, and if protected, is the key to definite emergence, and all the methods of the order of faults and restoration of decline are said to be accessible only to the Omniscient One, and even all Arhats cannot access it, so the noble Shariputra also only conforms and does not practice the precepts. Therefore, even the lord of the ten bhumis has not practiced it. Therefore, only the Buddha's words are valid, and one should practice as it is said in the scriptures, and there is no room for self-creation and random speech. For example, a single son named "Suppressing Mara" who holds the Vinaya, drinks alcohol like water, and eats food in the afternoon like in the morning, acting arbitrarily, and as a result, his back cracked and he died. Similarly, all householders think that the guru's "moist water" is just a casual remark, but even so, one should not accept it and relax. The Buddha did not establish precepts because of power, but the Omniscient One knew with his wisdom how the greatness of dependent origination, the Dharma of liberation and interruption, exists, and established the precepts only with compassion. The last is the instruction, because mantra is secret in any case.

It is indeed so. Geshe Tonpa said, "For two people who enter the same mandala at the same time, even if the same tantra or sadhana is taught, it must be taught separately." It is said that Drukpa Lekjung set up many black and white tents on a pasture and gave public teachings with lamps lit. When Geshe heard this, he said, "Kyowo Tonpa did something very improper." It is said that at that very moment, inauspicious things like the tents tearing happened. Then, if we prostrate to the noble Manjushri here, wouldn't this treatise become Dharmakirti? Someone asked this, and the answer was, "Indeed, it will become Dharmakirti, because this is also a treatise that establishes the tenets, so it is called Dharmakirti. It establishes both the path of higher rebirth and the path of definite goodness, the three paths of definite goodness, and both the Paramita of the Great Vehicle and the methods of Secret Mantra." It is said that the necessity of prostration will be explained below. It is said that those are all the instructions of the translators, but each one is very important. Three, the content of the treatise. Prostration and explanation of the cause of the treatise's arising, establishing the characteristics of the three types of individuals who are the basis of practice, the methods of practicing the practice, and the meaning of the conclusion of the completed work, there are four points. 1) Prostration and explanation of the cause of the treatise's arising. Among them, there are prostration and explanation. First, prostration. It is said in the sutra, "I prostrate with great reverence to all the Buddhas of the three times and their Dharma, and to the Sangha." Here, there are two explanations: the necessary meaning and the meaning of the words. First, the necessity of prostrating to the Three Jewels, the objects of faith, before writing the treatise is to remove obstacles, to complete the writing, and to conform to customs. Among them, Master Sharawa said, "Kyowo seems to have developed faith after understanding the Three Jewels, and the distance from Vajrasana to the capital of Sindhura is not far. When he went to various places, he also invited the stupa now located in Sangpu Monastery to go with him. As soon as a thought similar to affliction arose in his mind, he immediately made a mandala, arranged offerings, and performed prostrations and offerings. After praying, he regained his composure and continued on his way." It is said that such a treatise is for the entire Tibetan.
