But the greatest kindness is the Sangha. Among them, it is only the Sangha of ordinary beings. The nature of the Buddha is also known through this. The meaning of Dharma is also generated through this. Refuge in the Buddha is also taken through this. Entering the gate of Dharma is also done through this. It is the field of merit for beings to accumulate, the guide for those seeking liberation, and one should always take refuge with both words and mind. At the very least, do it three times during the day and three times during the night. It is said that even uttering a single phrase has inconceivable merit. The people of Kham say: Constantly taking refuge is what should be done. Now, when we walk, we take refuge; when we sit, we take refuge; when we sleep, we take refuge; when we wake up, we take refuge; when we are sick, we take refuge; when we are not sick, we take refuge. We must constantly recite. What merit will arise from doing that? Starting to recite now, even if it's just "Natsana" is fine. The habit of "Anao, Anao". Say "I take refuge in the Buddha, I take refuge in the Dharma, I take refuge in the Sangha." If you are not used to it from the beginning, it won't come. Having taken refuge with "Natsana", you will also take refuge at the time of death. Having taken refuge at the time of death, you will also take refuge in the bardo state. Having taken refuge in that bardo state, you will also take refuge in the next life. Such a person will not be born in the lower realms. Even if someone says they have fallen into the lower realms, because they have taken refuge, they can quickly be liberated. If one dies remembering the Three Jewels, the moment of death is good. If one dies remembering the Three Jewels, the signs of death are good. If one dies remembering the Three Jewels, one will certainly not be born in the lower realms, and the next life will be good. Constantly taking refuge is like a fish being caught by a cormorant. The fish caught by the cormorant swims together with the big fish in the water, but when the fisherman comes, the cormorant's fish will quickly appear on the shore. The big fish swims in the water. Similarly, beings who have taken refuge and those who have not, although they are together in samsara, when the disciples of the Buddha are ready, those who have taken refuge will quickly be liberated.

Sapa wandered in samsara and spoke a portion. The second of the general teachings is to always make offerings to the Three Jewels, and to also make offerings with the essence of what one eats and drinks. Sharawa said: In general, according to the way of practicing Dharma, one should always only do the work of offering to the Three Jewels, as if not doing anything else. If the former exists, the latter will also come. One should deeply imprint in one's heart that one has nothing to do but offer to the Three Jewels in daily work. It is easier to keep vows, but it is easier to offer to the Buddha, and the benefits are also greater. Keeping vows, due to the difference in thought, can also become a cause for lower realms and inferior liberation. If dedicated to perfect enlightenment, it will only become its cause. To the Buddha, even if one offers with the thought of only this life, or dedicates it in a wrong way, in the end, it will inevitably become the cause of omniscience. At all times of eating and drinking, if one offers the essence of the food to the Three Jewels, then eating and drinking will often become a lot. At all those times, remembering them and generating faith and respect will bring immeasurable merit and so on. Like from Modo Tsangpo, even if one drinks a cup of water, one should offer the essence of that water to the Three Jewels. Even if one drinks a cup of Lopa leaf juice, it is the same. If one cannot separate the essence from a young age, one should offer with a porcelain bowl. Even if it is someone else's leftovers, because it is the first thing one gets in one's hand, one should offer that essence. In short, one should not put it in one's mouth without offering the essence to the Three Jewels. It is not okay to offer green vegetable soup and yellow leaves; one should offer delicious food. Offering the essence of rough food to monks, like everyone dusting, is not okay; one should offer the essence itself. Third, on special days, one should also set up offerings and make offerings. This is also what Sharawa said: When worldly people worship local deities, all the women will dress up to their heart's content, cook some noodles, put on their best clothes, dress up beautifully, and then invite the friendly old women from the neighborhood, saying they are worshiping the deities, and then do it happily and joyfully. What harm does that prevent? And what benefit does it bring? There is nothing that is not set up as an offering. If one does that, then why not set up offerings when serving the Three Jewels? At that time, one should also put the filling of fried fruits
