Merely meditating on the absence of inherent existence is itself the meditation of wisdom. It is said. That is because all phenomena are established as being without inherent existence by the aforementioned reasoning. Therefore, all phenomena encompassed by the apprehended and the apprehender, or encompassed by the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, are understood to have no inherent existence whatsoever, whether they are things or non-things, and thus are not perceived. Therefore, meditating on them as being without self of persons and without self of phenomena is itself the meditation of wisdom, which is the meditation of wisdom that knows the ultimate reality of all phenomena. Sharawa said: Their own schools acknowledge that knowable forms, etc., are established as entities of the apprehended and the apprehender, etc., and consider them to be empty of the person imputed by outsiders, while the Yogachara school acknowledges that consciousness is established as an other-powered entity, and considers it to be empty of both the apprehended and the apprehender. For them, there is no meditation on ultimate wisdom, as it is said in the sutras and Madhyamaka treatises: The mundane emptiness is that of the tirthikas. It is said, therefore, it is taught that meditating on that which is not established as the nature of either things or non-things is the meditation of ultimate wisdom. Second, showing the method of abiding in that, there are two: the main text and the explanation of its reason. The first is: Wisdom does not see, the nature of all phenomena, that itself is wisdom, said to be the conduct of reason, that which is without discrimination is to be meditated upon. It is said. That is, if the knowable is established as being without inherent existence by wisdom, then is wisdom itself established as being without inherent existence or not? If it is not established, then all phenomena cannot be established as being without inherent existence. If it is established, then how is wisdom itself established as being without inherent existence? If you think like that, as explained before, by the wisdom of individual examination, by examining all knowable phenomena, just as one does not see any inherent existence, so too the wisdom of individual examination itself enters into engaging in reasoning, when things and non-things, do not remain before the mind, at that time, because there is no other aspect, it is completely pacified without an object. And in Jowo Je's Madhyamaka instructions, it is said: Like the example of fire arising from rubbing two sticks together, and when the sticks are exhausted, the fire itself subsides.

There arise three kinds of conceptualization: virtuous deeds and unwavering mental activity. From this, the mere arising of conceptualization in the three realms is called samsara or existence. Therefore, the truth of suffering, which is existence, arising from those conceptualizations that are the cause of all arising, is also merely the nature of conceptualization, and there is nothing else. Therefore, by abandoning the conceptualization of arising, the conceptualization of birth ceases. Abandoning all the conceptualizations of the cause and effect of existence is the supreme nirvana to be attained. Thus it is said. Regarding this, Sharawa said: What is called supreme is that even nirvana is supreme in relation to samsara. Among nirvanas, the Buddha who has completely abandoned all conceptualizations and does not abide in nirvana is the supreme one. Therefore, even if one does not abandon conceptualization with wisdom, one will not attain the supreme nirvana, so it should also be abandoned. If conceptualization is not abandoned, existence will not cease, so one should view conceptualization as a fault. Second, establishing that very meaning with scripture. There are two ways to establish it: with the scripture of Vairochana's Actual Enlightenment or the Net of Illusion, and with the scripture of the Dharani for Entering Non-Conceptualization. First, establishing it with the scripture of Vairochana's Actual Enlightenment or the Net of Illusion: Thus, the Bhagavan also said: Conceptualization is great ignorance, causing one to fall into the ocean of samsara. Abiding in non-conceptual samadhi, one is clear and non-conceptual like the sky. Thus it is said. Thus it is said, then is the root of existence not ignorance? Here, if one thinks, what establishes that it is said that existence arises from conceptualization? That existence arises from conceptualization is such that the Bhagavan said in the tantra of Vairochana's Actual Enlightenment or the Net of Illusion: Conceptualization is great ignorance. Having thus proclaimed that ignorance itself is conceptualization, by its power, as before, it causes one to fall into the ocean of samsara. In the causal stage, abiding in non-conceptual samadhi, in the resultant stage, one will attain the clarity of non-conceptual wisdom, like the sky. Thus it is said. Thus it is said, second,
