It is like this. To put actual practice into the path, by intensifying control, the prana enters the central channel At that time, prana and mind become one, and awareness becomes clear and non-conceptual. At that time, a lama instructs: 'Your awareness is clear and non-conceptual, and that is your own mind's nature.' He meditates according to that instruction, thereby abandoning attachment to clarity and non-conceptuality, and certainty arises in that awareness. That awareness itself, without distraction, is samadhi. The ultimate vajra-like samadhi (藏文:རྡོ་རྗེ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་) is the Dharmakāya. The three paths are: the path of abandoning the base, the path of transforming the base, and the path of knowing the base. The path of abandoning the base is wanting to abandon afflictions and wanting to generate antidote wisdom in the continuum, and that is Pāramitā. The path of transforming the base is mantra. How to transform? Transform all phenomena into palaces, deities, and goddesses, transform all food into nectar, transform oneself into a deity, and transform afflictions into wisdom. Knowing the base is: there is nothing to abandon in all phenomena, nothing to accept, and nothing to transform, everything is gathered into the mind, it is the mind's manifestation, knowing the unborn luminosity, that is knowing the base, which is mantra. Vajradhara said: 'No meditator, also no meditation, no slight thing to be meditated upon.' The yogi does not listen to the Buddha, the Buddha is not true, there is meditation. How is there? Self-mind is awareness. My awareness is clear and unobstructed, continuously meditate on this. There is a meditator. How is there? My essence cannot be severed by the Buddha, so I am myself. There is also something to be meditated upon. I have some experience. Then I am the true Buddha, I follow the Buddha. There is no meditation. How is there not? Self-knowing is free from grasping, it cannot be represented by any example or word. From the aspect of signs, even the Buddhas of the three times cannot see it. In its essence, there is no object to be meditated upon. I do not want clarity, because that is grasping. I do not want non-conceptuality, because that is also grasping. It cannot be represented by any example, no word can reach it. Do not be artificial, leave it natural.' Furthermore, Rinpoche said: 'Co-emergent mind nature is the Dharmakāya, co-emergent appearance is the light of the Dharmakāya.' Among them, co-emergent mind nature is the nature or essence of the mind, and appearance is the luminosity of the mind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The co-emergent ego is the conceptual thought that arises from it. It's like the sun and its rays, or sandalwood and its fragrance. Regarding this, there are three dharmas to be realized and three dharmas to be practiced. The three dharmas to be realized are: to know that appearances are co-emergent, that nothing actually exists, yet various phenomena appear; to know that although various phenomena appear, they are actually meaningless; to know that duality is inexpressible. The three dharmas to be practiced are: the co-emergent nature of mind, first, to relax the body and mind by being free from effort; second, to leave the mind naturally without any alteration by being free from doubt; and finally, to know that all arising feelings are unborn. By meditating on death, one will not be attached to the things of this life; by meditating on the faults of samsara, one will not be reborn in samsara; by meditating on karma and its results, one will not fall into the lower realms; by meditating on loving-kindness, compassion, and bodhicitta, one will not fall into the paths of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas; by meditating on profound emptiness, one will not be reborn in the form or formless realms. Meditating on death has eight qualities and three benefits. What are the eight qualities? They are generating renunciation, increasing faith, becoming diligent, not being attached to the world, and turning towards nirvana. There are three levels of meditating on death: superior, intermediate, and inferior. The superior one does not hold onto things for even a day, the intermediate one does not hold on for even a month, and the inferior one does not hold on for even a year, it is said. This is a written record of the Lama's instructions. The Lama also said: The three non-objectifications are: not objectifying the giving, not objectifying the giver, and not objectifying the object of giving. This is a manifestation of mind. Not objectifying the object of giving is a manifestation of mind. The nature of mind is unborn luminosity. If luminosity can be separated from dualistic grasping, it is non-objectification. Thus it is said. Namo Guru! The emanation of the Sugata, the venerable Lama, please remember me, Instructing that one's own mind is the Buddha, The experiential realization of certainty, beyond words and thoughts. The duality of samsara and nirvana, and the conceptual thoughts, Dissolve into the inexpressible, non-elaborate Dharmakaya. The clinging to permanence and annihilation is liberated in its own place, Defiled bliss arises from the center of the body, Undefiled bliss pervades all things. The view without attachment is like the vastness of the sky, The continuous experience is like the flow of a river, The fruit without hope or fear is naturally accomplished. Desiring to experience such a profound meaning, Carry the Lama on the crown of your head, and have faith in the path, Willingly endure all suffering, and happiness will naturally come. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
