The key points of the body, the key points of speech, and the key points of mind. First, it is necessary to grasp the key points of the body. In the *Beyond Thought* it says: "The body is the body of the three kayas, it should not be indulged in constantly." Furthermore, just as a snake, even though it has complete limbs, will not be visible unless it is coiled, so too, although awareness and wisdom reside in the body, they cannot actually appear unless the key points of the illusion wheel are grasped through skillful means. Grasping the key points of the body is extremely important. In the *Clarity of Space* it says: "Even though awareness dwells in the body, if it is not controlled by the illusion wheels, wisdom and the senses cannot appear." Now, the actual practice of grasping the key points of the body is: In the *String of Pearls* it says: "The key points of the body are of three kinds: the posture of a lion, the posture of an elephant, and the posture of a sage." These are the three sitting postures. The first is the sitting posture of the Dharmakaya, which should be like the sitting posture of a lion. That is, sitting on a cushion like a dog, with the soles of the feet touching the ground, the knees spread outwards, the palms of the hands placed on the ground, holding the thumbs. The upper body should be erect like a lion, the neck slightly raised upwards, and the eyes should look unblinkingly at the space between the eyebrows. The benefits of grasping the key points of the body are: In the *Beyond Thought* it says: "Through the sitting posture of the Dharmakaya, relying on the way a lion sits, one is freed from all the fears of delusion, and one will see with the vajra eye." Therefore, doing this will calm the inner movements and there is a need to subdue thoughts. This sitting posture perfects the wisdom of the Buddhas in this very life. That is, the body sits in the posture of a lion, causing the essence and awareness to meet. By pressing the soles of the feet to the ground, thoughts are stopped. By curling the fingers of the hands inwards and placing them inside, the movements of karma and defilements are emptied. As a sign of throwing the upper body upwards, one does not separate from the nature of reality. By straightening the neck, one makes a special support for the fearlessness of the nature of reality. The scriptures also say: "Whoever knows the way to sit in the Dharmakaya, whoever knows the key points of the body, whoever knows in accordance with that, this person will always practice in the great bliss of the Dharmakaya." Therefore, it should be understood in this way. The second is the sitting posture of the Sambhogakaya, which is like an elephant lying down.

That is, lying face down on the cushion, knees close to the chest, elbows propped on the ground, supporting the throat with both palms, fingers touching the cheeks, straightening the back, and looking askance at the sky with the eyes. The benefit of doing so is: there is a need to control the moving air. In the Root Tantra, it says: "The posture of the Sambhogakaya Buddha is, Based on the sleeping posture of an elephant, Enjoying all of Dharmata. One will be able to see with lotus eyes." By practicing with the posture of the Sambhogakaya Buddha, one can directly see the pure land of the Buddha in this life. Lying face down can generate the power to overwhelm the three realms of existence. Knees close to the chest can cause illusion to appear as wisdom. Pushing the thumbs outwards against the ground can suppress the moving karma air. Propping the elbows on the ground can cause Dharmata to manifest. Slightly raising the neck can cause conceptual thoughts to appear as wisdom. As the Khading says: "Enjoying the Dharmadhatu, Imitating the posture of the Sambhogakaya, This is enjoying the pure land of the three bodies. For example, the most supreme body point, Is the main deity of the great yoga." Third is the posture of the Nirmanakaya: sitting like a sage. That is, sitting cross-legged on the cushion with both legs aligned, placing the hands on the waist or knees, straightening the spine, and directing the eyes half-closed towards the sky. The merit of practicing in this way is: warmth is generated in the body, and there is a need to cut off conceptual thoughts. In the Root Tantra, it says: "The posture of the Nirmanakaya Buddha is, Based on the sitting posture of a sage, Dharmata naturally manifests, One will be able to see with the eye of Dharma." By practicing with the Nirmanakaya Buddha's sage posture, one can benefit sentient beings without obstruction. Aligning both legs can generate the essence of skillful means and wisdom. Touching the soles of the feet to the ground can stop the operation of increasing and decreasing air, and cause the heat of wisdom to flow into the body. Sitting cross-legged can cause the mind to flow, thereby softening the channels. Knees close to the chest can cause the various forms of the mind
