Having gone into the ocean of drops, it will not dry up until the ocean dries up. Likewise, all the virtues dedicated to Bodhi will not be exhausted until Bodhi is attained. It is said. Even the roots of virtue accumulated over eons will be destroyed by a single act of anger. It is said. Therefore, dedication must be a correct dedication. If there is no dedication, or if it is wrongly dedicated, if regret arises, or if it is proclaimed to others, these are said to be the four causes of exhausting the roots of virtue. From the "Bhadra-caryā-praṇidhāna-rāja" (King of Aspiration Prayers of Samantabhadra): Just as Mañjuśrī the brave knows, and Samantabhadra is also the same, I also follow all of them, and dedicate all these virtues. It is said. Dedication is inexhaustible and increases, and increase is with change and inclusion. Dedication is an inexhaustible treasure. It is said. The actual dedication is: May this essence of pure virtuous accumulation of merit be dedicated to all sentient beings without limits. May I realize the meaning of the profound secret Vajrayana and attain the state of the lineage master. Third, the special preliminaries have four aspects: the general preliminaries, and the outer, inner, and secret preliminaries. The first has eight aspects: explaining the vessel, explaining the place, explaining the time, explaining the companion, explaining the resources, telling the history, empowerment, and explaining the preliminaries. First, explaining the vessel: From "Rangshar" (Self-Arisen): Great strength of faith and diligence, great wisdom and no attachment, great compassion and practices secret mantra, no conceptual mind and no distraction, keeps vows and strives in practice. It is said. From "Klongsal" (Clear Expanse): Possesses faith, compassion, and generosity, is tamed, avoids sin, and has sharp faculties, can keep secrets, has unwavering conduct, has renunciation, can endure suffering, and has perseverance. This is the vessel of secret mantra, therefore, this essence of nectar, should be taught to the supreme son. It is said. Explaining the place: From "Klongsal" (Clear Expanse): Snowy mountains, empty valleys, mountain peaks, or charnel grounds, a place that is extremely secluded, clear, and high, is a place for fortunate beings to practice. It is said. Explaining the time: From "Klongsal" (Clear Expanse): Late summer, autumn, early winter, and spring, these two seasons are said to be the best time. Explaining the companion: From "Klongsal" (Clear Expanse): Possesses pure vows, great pure appearance, weak power of the five poisons, stable mind and broad-minded, gentle nature and
