Thus. Possessing diligence is the field of liberation. Thus. There are three aspects to this. First, the precepts to be protected by a layperson: killing, taking what is not given, unchaste conduct, lying, and alcohol. These five are the root foundation, so they should be well protected without deterioration. Second, the categories of external precepts to be protected by a novice monk, the four root precepts and six branch precepts, should be protected like the eyes by a pure novice monk. Third, the categories of vows for a fully ordained monk: four defeats, thirteen remainders, thirty relinquishments, ninety single falls, four confessions, one hundred and twelve misdeeds. The precepts to be protected by those who possess the vows of a fully ordained monk, two hundred and fifty-three in number, should be received from a virtuous spiritual friend who possesses the three purities. The three trainings of individual liberation should be protected without deterioration. As it is said in the summary of the "General Teachings": "Killing, taking what is not given, and wrong sexual conduct, Lying and reckless alcohol, These are the roots and branches, even the subtle ones should be abandoned." Thus. As said by the teacher Nagarjuna: "Discipline is like the ground for growth and non-growth, Therefore, the capable one said, it is the basis for all qualities." Thus. Having gone forth from home to homelessness, the noble Sangha who abide in purity and even greater purity, abiding in the three disciplines of body, speech, and mind, are liberated from all suffering. Second, the vows of a Bodhisattva: Those who possess the mind of a Bodhisattva should abandon all places of carelessness. Like the lords of the world with wisdom, with the thought of cherishing others more than oneself, they take on the burden of all suffering beings. Practicing the conduct of the Secret Mantra Great Vehicle Dharma, diligently striving to accomplish the benefit of oneself and others, the benefit of sentient beings should never be abandoned until the ultimate result is obtained. As it is said in the Tantra of the Great Powerful Ocean of Infinity: "Giving away life and offering charity, Protecting pure conduct and also teaching the Dharma, Always relying on diligence, When benefiting others, thoughts also arise." Thus. Towards the guides above, one should have faith, respect, and compassion, and towards the beings below, one should have loving compassion, and always possess the supreme training of the Bodhicitta. Third, the vows of mantra: These are the vows that arise from the ripening empowerment and the liberating instructions.

Furthermore, there are two stages: the generation stage and the completion stage. The generation stage meditates on the meaning of the five manifest enlightenments. The outer environment transforms into a celestial palace, and the inner essence, sentient beings, transform into the nature of deities, and sounds transform into the nature of mantras. In general, it involves extreme clarity, complete purity of mindfulness, and the three aspects of stable pride. One should realize the pure, vast deity form of the Mahamudra. Viewing all appearances as emptiness, like illusions, without attachment or clinging, is the ultimate completion stage. It is the discipline of secret wisdom. The inner suchness, the true nature, is free from all elaborations, without protectors or protected, and without boundaries. As stated in the *Samadhiraja Sutra*: "When one realizes the essence, nature, and clear light, and that all phenomena are without self, then one will never have vows, nor will one change." And contemplating the inner science of reality is the supreme discipline, without beginning or end, therefore one should abide in unwavering samadhi. Actually taking vows is: Hūṃ! As all the Buddhas of the past abided in vows, I, too, with my body, speech, and mind, will abandon harm and accomplish good. Among the Pratimoksha vows, such as lay practitioners, novices, and monks, I will constantly abide and protect. The discipline of vows, as well as the accumulation of virtuous dharmas, and the three aspects of benefiting sentient beings, I will never abandon. Thus, vowing never to abandon the four means of gathering and the three trainings. Do not abandon the Three Jewels, practice. Do not abandon the Guru and Yidam. Thus, do not abandon, because the Three Jewels are the foundation of all vows and the main refuge. The Guru is the source of blessings, and the Yidam is the treasure of accomplishments, therefore they should not be abandoned. In the *Essence of the Lotus*, it says: "The three aspects of profound meaning—hearing, thinking, and meditating—vow to protect them, without distraction." Thus. Vow to the Buddha Jewel, enter into the meaning of the true essence. Vow to the Dharma Jewel, summarize all the vehicles of Dharma into the essence. Vow to the Sangha Jewel, contemplate the meaning of immaculate wisdom. Vow to the Guru and Yidam, establish one's own pure mind as a witness, and enter into the meaning of the true essence. Thus, abandoning the inferior view of the perishable aggregate, as well as the inverted path, and
