Undesired occurrences and death, etc., are filled with various sufferings and devoid of happiness. The Asuras' quarrels and mutual conflicts, the storms of jealousy raging, and the fires of hatred blazing, bring various kinds of pain, as well as death, unfulfilled desires, and the suffering of undesired events occurring, which are immeasurable. Life is uncertain because it is the realm of desire. Some powerful Yaksha clans, etc., are equal to the Four Great Kings, some powerful deva clans, etc., are equal to the Thirty-three, some murderous Rakshasa clans, etc., are equal to the pretas, and some deluded animal clans, etc., are equal to animals. Even the gods of the higher realms have the suffering of death, transference, and falling, etc., like an immeasurable ocean of suffering. In the six desire realms, such as the Thirty-three, etc., they are intoxicated by desire and, due to carelessness, at the time of death, the suffering of fear about where they will be born is like a fish thrown into hot sand, experiencing the suffering of seven days of divine life before dying, as well as fighting and sorrow, etc., which are many. In the two higher realms, there is also immeasurable suffering of rebirth. The length of life has already been discussed. Now, it is advice to be weary of the nature of samsara, which should be abandoned. As it was said before: "Thus, samsara is like a pit of fire, there is no time for happiness, like a water wheel. From one to one, passing without beginning or end, the wise should generate joy for liberation." As it is said, there is no happiness in any of the three realms and six classes of beings, just as there is no coolness in a pit of fire. That is to say, having enjoyed the happiness of the gods, one again experiences the boiling water of hell, etc. In the lifetimes passed from one to another, there is no happiness or suffering that I have not experienced, no place that I have not lived, no womb of sentient beings that I have not inhabited, and no breast milk that I have not drunk more than the ocean. It is impossible to think that even after wandering so much, there is still no liberation, so it is necessary to generate weariness for samsara as before. As it is said in the Letter to a Friend: "There is no place where one has not dwelled, there is no direction in the sky where one has not gone, yet attachment and craving will increase, and what has not been experienced many times before."

I have no suffering. There is no being who is satisfied with their desires. If there is no sentient being who has not lain in their own belly, However, how is it possible for those in samsara to be without attachment? Which being has not gone through hundreds of deaths? Which happiness has not been experienced many times before? As it says in the "Friendly Epistle": "Having drunk milk exceeding the four oceans each time, Yet still following after the births of each individual, Those in samsara drink even more than that." Fifth, contemplating the benefits of liberation, thereby advising that one must definitely emerge from samsara. That is also from the "Wish-Fulfilling Jewel Mine": "From such a meaningless samsara, The direction of liberation is nirvana, Which is the unsurpassed nectar of peace and coolness, Constant, stable, unchanging, and free from elaboration. Qualities, self-nature, body complete, without old age or death, Without obscurations, without confusion, a place of benefit and happiness, A refuge and support for beings, Wise ones strive to go there." Therefore, being disgusted with samsara, because it is full of faults and difficult to cross like a pit of fire, nirvana is a pleasant forest of peace and coolness, rich with qualities such as strength and fearlessness. Because there is no old age or death, it is a constant, stable, and unobscured excellent place. Having gone there oneself, one is also advised to strive to help others by righteous means. One must strive to practice the Dharma of cherishing others more than oneself, because cultivating this special mind of accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others has immeasurable benefits and merit. As it says in the "Bhadra-caryā Praṇidhāna": "Even just once generating faith, This will become the supreme of excellent merit." That is, virtuous actions are divided into two types: those conducive to liberation and those conducive to merit. Through virtuous actions conducive to merit, one can obtain the happy results of higher realms. Virtuous actions are further divided into three types: small, medium, and large. Performing small virtuous actions leads to rebirth as ordinary people; performing medium virtuous actions leads to rebirth as kings, ministers, and wealthy patrons; performing large virtuous actions leads to rebirth as righteous individuals and universal monarchs. Due to the power and ability of previous merit, the universal monarch can rule over one or three
