The one who possesses. The one with the intention of being separated from encounters. The one with the intention of not being separated. I prostrate to you, the intention of benefit and happiness. Thus it is. The six perfections are: The mind of generosity that wants to give one's own possessions to others, along with virtuous activities. Morality is: The mind of abandoning non-virtuous aspects, along with virtuous activities. Patience is: The mind of enduring without anger towards harm from others, along with virtuous activities. Diligence is: Taking joy in virtuous deeds, along with activities. Meditation is: The mind abiding single-pointedly on the object, along with activities. Wisdom is: Understanding the words and meanings of the Dharma, along with activities. All of these, practicing in the state of appearance but without inherent existence, is perfection. The activity of generosity is that those things are obtained by others. Similarly, not harming others, not retaliating with anger, practicing virtue, cultivating calm and insight by abiding in the mind, and having no doubt after realization are activities. Knowing that nothing is established, and practicing in the collection of appearances, is the activity of perfection, which is wonderful. In the Bodhicitta Commentary, it says: Having known the emptiness of all phenomena, relying on the results of virtuous deeds, this is more wonderful than wonderful, more rare than rare. Thus it is. By this, the vast benefit of sentient beings in samsara can also be accomplished. In the Sutra Requested by Light Protector, it says: Although abiding in selflessness, patience, and equality, great compassion arises for sentient beings. Although giving charity to fully ripen them, there is no expectation for the ripening of karma. With thought, one always abides in nirvana. That action is abiding in samsara. Although one realizes that all phenomena are empty, one trusts in the ripening of karma. Thus it is. Among them, the first five perfections are merit, and the last one is the collection of wisdom. The first three are the cause, essence, and activity of the discipline of morality, meditation is the mind, wisdom is the discipline of wisdom, and diligence is the companion of all. In the Ornament of the Sutras, it says: Having mastered the three trainings, the Victorious Ones taught the six perfections. The first three, the latter two are two kinds, one also belongs to all three. Generosity, morality, merit.

Of. Accumulation is of wisdom and knowledge, The other three are a combination of the two, All five are accumulations of knowledge. Thus it is said. From the Bodhisattvacaryāvatāra: All these limbs, The Subduer said are for the sake of wisdom. Thus it is said. From the Ornament of the Sutras: Giving is merit, Wisdom is knowledge, The other four are a combination of the two, Or the first is merit, The remaining five are considered knowledge. Here, it is according to the view of the Bodhisattvacaryāvatāra. So, whatever virtue is done, with the preliminary thought of enlightenment, the main practice of realizing selflessness, and the subsequent dedication, if these three are embraced, it is a condition for liberation. If not embraced, it is difficult to become a cause for liberation in this stage of practice with faith. From the Ornament of the Sutras: Mostly meaningless, meaningful and, Always meaningful should be known. Thus it is said, if not embraced by these three in the path of accumulation, most of it is meaningless, and from the first to the seventh ground it is meaningful. In the three pure grounds, it is always meaningful, therefore the two accumulations are perfected. So, above the first ground, the ten powers are obtained, therefore immeasurable accumulations are perfected, and below the first ground, even if effort is made, it is not fully perfected. From the Treasury of Wish-Fulfilling Jewels: Especially the vast virtue of the Great Vehicle, The preliminary is the thought of enlightenment, the main practice is without object, The subsequent is completely embraced by dedication, These are the three treasures for traversing the path of liberation. Here, the method is compassion, Whatever virtue is done, it exists at that time, and wisdom emptiness is simultaneously united, therefore there is no before or after. Some people think that when practicing Dharmata, the preliminary is compassion, and the main practice is emptiness union, this is not understanding the point, Because the past is unreal, and the present is real union, this is a joke. So, the mind of obtaining the thought of enlightenment and not degenerating is compassion, the essence of not focusing on anything is emptiness, These two minds have the same essence but different aspects are union or non-object, that itself is emptiness, Non-object turns into compassion, the two become one, therefore it is considered a union of essences without difference. This is a very important point. The fruit of the Bodhisattva path is summarized as: So, from the previous one: All diligence is only for the benefit of others, View like the sky eighteen emptinesses, Practice clear light thirty-seven factors of enlightenment.
