Furthermore, like a face illuminated by a lamp. To meditate with clear understanding, and to desire the mind to be empty. This is to abandon the suffering of ignorance. By meditating in these four ways, one obtains four kinds of results. What are the four results? The result of meditating on cessation is the attainment of the stream-enterer. Obtaining great joy is like being below the seventh ground. The nature of meditating on the origin is the attainment of the once-returner. Obtaining the eighth ground and below. Through the merit of meditating on the path, the result of the Arhat is obtained. Obtaining the complete tenth ground. When abiding on the ground and the path, one listens and hears. Bodhisattvas below the seventh ground listen to their respective masters. Bodhisattvas below the eighth ground desire to listen from the emanation body. However, it is not seen as a real object. It is obtained through blessings. The Hearer Vehicle believes in this way. Thus it is said. Secondly, the Pratyekabuddha Vehicle also has five aspects. Its essence is the one-sided self-benefit, without relying on a Bodhi master, the means to manifest in the last life of existence is the nature of realizing half of the selflessness. The definition is to desire to become a Buddha alone. The necessity is to be liberated from samsara and obtain intermediate Bodhi. The result is two types of Arhats. The division is like a flock of parrots flying together, and like a rhinoceros living alone. Among them, the rhinoceros takes as its object the dharmas included in the four truths. Meditating on the twelve links of dependent origination in the reverse order, one desires to abandon all subtle attachments of the three realms. That is, from the cause of ignorance arises action, from consciousness to old age and death, knowing the cause and effect of before and after. The view is that in the self of a person and half of the self of phenomena, both the divisible and indivisible particles grasped by external objects are non-existent, like an image, naturally without essence and unborn. Among them, in the self of phenomena, both the consciousness that grasps external objects and the consciousness that holds the internal antidote are imputed. The self of a person is the dharma included in the five aggregates, which is known as something to be abandoned, and the clinging to "I", which is called the self of a person and the self of phenomena. Although the noble Hearer realizes the selflessness of a person, he does not realize the selflessness of phenomena. The Pratyekabuddha, on top of that, does not have the half of the phenomena, the external object grasped.

Even if one has realized, if there is no absence of inner clinging, then it is not considered realization. As it is said in the Ornament for Clear Realization: "In order to abandon the thought of the object of grasping, and also in order not to abandon the grasping subject, the path like the horn of a rhinoceros, should be known as the true collection." That is to say, in terms of time, it takes accumulating the collections of the path of accumulation for a hundred great eons, as it is said: "The rhinoceros horn needs the cause of a hundred eons." Like a parrot, contemplate the reverse order of dependent origination. Go to the cemetery and think, where did this corpse come from? It came from death, tracing back to ignorance. Taking the realization of half of no-self as the basis, through contemplating the five paths, one attains the wisdom of cessation and non-arising, thereby actualizing enlightenment. Both of these teach the Dharma through the symbolism of the body, not through language. These also come from the Self-Arisen Tantra: "Ah! Listen, Lord of Secrets, the vehicle of the Self-Arisen Sutra, the entrance is the twelve links of dependent origination. The view of realization is the selflessness of the person, and for phenomena, it is seen as having half of inherent existence. The result is keeping the two hundred and fifty precepts. Meditation is meditating on the nature of reality without understanding the stages. External and internal dependent originations, becoming accustomed to them, transform into strength, and the ultimate result is considered the limit. This example is like this: for example, like a corpse in a cemetery, going to the cemetery, think, where did this corpse come from in the beginning? What is its essence now? Use the example to illustrate. It comes from ignorance, ignorance produces action, action produces consciousness, consciousness produces name, name and form produce nature, form produces the six sense bases, the six sense bases produce contact, contact produces feeling, feeling produces craving, craving produces grasping, grasping produces existence, existence produces birth, birth produces aging, aging produces sickness, sickness produces death. In this way, contemplate the twelve links of dependent origination. Through the merit of contemplating in this way, one obtains the result of the tenth-ground Bodhisattva. Contemplate the eight aspects of ugliness, go to the cemetery, and examine your own body in this way: first, wish it to become blue, then...
