Having abandoned the four, eight, and forty things to be abandoned in meditation, one desires to be liberated by realizing the knowledge of exhaustion and the knowledge of non-arising, the supreme wisdom. The Sutra School believes that among the four truths to be meditated upon, one knows the object of meditation as twelve types of consciousness, or one abandons the eighty-eight afflictions, thereby desiring to realize the supreme wisdom. This is similar to the previously mentioned selflessness of the person, but on top of that, the realm of phenomena is more excellent in one aspect, namely, it mainly negates the part-containing atoms, the five bases of knowable objects: the main basis of mind, the basis of associated mental factors, non-associated compositional factors, the basis of aggregates, the basis of unconditioned permanence, and the basis of manifest form. By realizing the nature of these five, it does not negate the partless atoms. Furthermore, a part of the realm of phenomena, namely, the coarse appearance of the apprehended object, the composition of atoms that touch but do not adhere to each other, is also more excellent than before by realizing the partless, which is similar to not accepting nominally existent atoms. Both of these, when practicing the path, from diligently generating the order of the five paths, meditate on selflessness and illusion, which are the common antidotes for the three times. In addition, for their respective antidotes, for desire, they meditate on the eight impure things and skeletons; for hatred, they meditate on love; for delusion, they meditate on the reverse order of dependent origination; and for conceptual thought, they meditate on counting the exhaling and inhaling breaths. When meditating on selflessness, since one does not focus on anything in the cessation of the object and the subject, one meditates on the actual meaning, and to counteract the delusion of sinking and dullness, one focuses the mind on the flames blazing on the crown of the head. Having practiced in this way, some of those with dull faculties and medium diligence will obtain the result in that very life, while some with sharp faculties and Bodhisattvas will perfect the five paths on a single seat and be liberated, relying on the support of the vast accumulation of merit from the previously traversed five paths. Furthermore, from the Hearer Vehicle of small, medium, and great faculties, one desires to accomplish the three enlightenments of Solitary Realizer and Buddha, but one does not desire the Great Vehicle and the Mantra path. Moreover, for Hearers and Solitary Realizers, the eight inferior grounds, such as the ground of white appearance, are explained, and relying on these, one becomes a Stream Enterer and a Once Returner.

, the non-returner, and the Arhat, that is, each fruit position has two entries and two dwellings, which together are the eight stages of great men. It is said that for the ten grounds such as extreme joy, there are four fruits of the Shramana. These are also from "Wisdom Self-Arising", which says: Hearing the Shravaka Vehicle is like this: The gate of entry is the Four Noble Truths, and the common gate of entry for hearing the Shravaka is also considered to have two differences: the Sarvastivada and the Sautrantika. The view of the Sarvastivada is: For the aggregates, realms, and places of origin, it is considered to be the shape of a yak's tail and a peacock feather. If you observe with your own wisdom, then you think there are dust and extremely small dust. Similarly, through analysis, practice emptiness. The view of the Sautrantika is: Through the nature of recitation, and the three of hearing, thinking, and meditating, through the practice of the three wisdoms, it is believed that the fruit of the ten grounds can be obtained. The common aspect of hearing the Shravaka is: practicing the four truths, and believing that there are four fruits. The way of practicing is like this: Starting from wanting to practice cessation, it is believed that the origin can be cut off. The way of practicing cessation is like this: For those external earth, water, fire, and wind elements, after entering a state of non-attachment, first get used to food. After getting used to food, practice meditation samadhi, practice non-conceptual meditation. It is believed that the fruit can be obtained in the teachings of the Victorious Maitreya. Cutting off the origin is like this: cutting off the thought of food, and believing that the continuity of the origin can be cut off. That is, practicing the antidote to hatred, and cutting off all afflictions. Practicing the ground path is like this: practicing the antidote to desire, practicing the antidote to ignorance, and similarly, the practice of the path, believing that suffering can be cut off. The way of practicing the path is like this: As an antidote to desire, in the center wheel of one's forehead, visualize a white bone the size of a thumb. Starting from visualizing white desire, expand it to the size of the head on it. On that, visualize the size of the body, and then visualize the size of your own house. Then visualize everything that appears. In this way, the three thousand worlds are white. In this way, after getting used to white, the suffering of desire can be cut off. Cutting off the suffering of ignorance is: on the top of one's head
