In between. I take refuge in the Buddhas, I also take refuge in the Dharma and the assembly of Bodhisattvas. After reciting these three times to take refuge, Just as the Sugatas of the past, Generated the mind of enlightenment, And abide in the precepts of the Bodhisattvas, Just as they abide in order. Likewise, for the benefit of beings, I will generate the mind of enlightenment, And likewise in those precepts, I will train in order. After reciting these three times to take the mind of enlightenment, Then, for the sake of whatever is to be done, all the things to be accomplished, imagine that all of them are under the protection of the right hand of the venerable mother. Om, I prostrate to the venerable noble Tara! Homage to Tara, swift and brave, Who dispels all fears with TUTTARA, Who liberates by bestowing all benefits with TURE, To you, the letter SVAHA, I bow. Homage to Tara, swift and brave, Whose eyes are like a flash of lightning, Born from the blooming lotus face, Of the three world protectors. Homage to the one whose face, Is like a hundred autumn moons completely full, And the light that is gathered from, A thousand stars shining brightly. Homage to the one born from blue lotus water, Whose hands are adorned with lotus flowers, Giving, diligence, asceticism, Peace, patience, meditation are her field of practice. Homage to the crown of the Thus-gone ones, Whose conduct is completely victorious and limitless, Having attained all the perfections, She is relied upon by the sons of the Buddhas. Homage to TUTTARA HUM, Which fills desire, directions, and space, The seven worlds are pressed down by her feet, And she is able to summon all without exception. Homage to her who is worshipped by, Indra, the fire god, Brahma, The wind god, and various powerful gods, The assemblies of spirits, zombies, gandharvas, And yakshas praise her from the front. Homage to her who destroys, The magic wheels of others with TRAT and PHAT, With right leg bent and left leg extended, She treads down and is exceedingly ablaze with raging fire. Homage to the one who is adorned with the earth in her heart, Who is adorned with wheels of all directions, Whose own light masses are agitated, Homage to the one who is greatly delighted and majestic. Whose crown is interwoven with garlands of light, Who, with a radiant smile and the sound "Tuttara," Controls demons and the world, Homage to the one who can summon all the protectors of the earth. With the letter "Hum" (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) that moves with a frown, She liberates all the impoverished, Homage to the one whose crown is adorned with a fragment of the moon, All her ornaments are exceedingly blazing. From Amitabha within her locks, She constantly emanates great light, Homage to the one who dwells in the center of a blazing garland, Like the fire of the final eon.
