Ah! Clear without inside or outside, vast without scattering, essence without clinging, empty and transparent without obstruction. This natural and genuine state is the self-luminous nature, the unchanging nature of the Dharmakaya, recognize it! Cherish this great ungrasping luminosity. The stainless pure Buddha is, self-aware Dharmakaya, unchanging. Sa le seng nge wa le ba, like the cloudless autumn sky. Abide like an unmoving, stable mountain! Abide like an unmoving, clear ocean! Abide like an unbounded sky! Whatever arises, abide in the state of awareness! Whatever arises, it is the radiance of awareness! Let it shine and abide, self-aware, clear, and discerning! Just as birds, no matter where they fly, never leave the sky, so too, abide in the state of awareness! All phenomena are self-luminous, without wavering! Thus it is said. Abiding in the clear and pure state of mind, reciting (ཕཊ་,phaṭ,Phat, destroying) and forgetting due to distraction, although the previous non-conceptual feeling has disappeared, the awareness without the arising of discriminating thoughts and clinging to the antidote, self-luminous, vast, and unrestrained awareness arises. This is the meditation of the self-abiding nature of awareness, so recognize it! From now on, no matter what state awareness is in, whether moving or still, affirming or negating, good thoughts or bad thoughts, always focus and gaze at the self-luminous original awareness, then the ungrasping self-abiding meditation will naturally appear. This is the effortless, spontaneous accomplishment of meditation, like a flowing river. After gaining some stability in this, through the combination of moderate behavior and one's own experience, merging with meditation, all actions, speech, thoughts, and discriminations will appear as the play of Dharma-nature, without distinction between meditation and post-meditation, without the interval of day and night, without the Dharma of acceptance and rejection, without the calculation of the meditator and the object of meditation, all is the self-radiance of awareness, echoing in the realm of the exhaustion of phenomena and original purity. Thus, in the Refutation Treatise, it is said: In the wisdom of the originally pure essence, there is no possibility of the existence of ignorance, therefore there is no number of one and two, and even wisdom itself is not established. Thus it is said. The second is to introduce the self-radiance as the play of wisdom, in three parts. The first is to introduce abiding as the ornament of the mind: leave the three doors relaxed in their natural state, and let go of the various thoughts of affirmation and negation, so the...

All elaborations are completely pacified, the primordial state of wisdom, clear emptiness and co-emergent, remains in its own state, like waves subsiding in the ocean, clear and unwavering. As it is said in Rangshar: "Transcending the extremes of permanence and annihilation, the stains of the four extremes are self-purified." At that time, the mind free from elaborations is the Dharmakaya, clear and without grasping is the Sambhogakaya, and the uninterrupted manifestation of various forms is the Nirmanakaya, because the essence, nature, and compassion are inseparable. As it is said in the Jeweled Garland: "The complete Buddha is self-awareness, the essence is unchanging in the three times, the nature is eternally uninterrupted, and compassion shines upon all." And in the Refutation of Extremes: "When wisdom remains in its own state, it is inseparable in the form of the three kayas." So it is said. Second, introducing the arising as the play of the mind: From the state of clear and non-conceptual mind, without obstruction, whatever arises as a manifestation, without acceptance or rejection, abandoning or adopting, it is maintained in its natural state, just as waves arise in the ocean without disturbing the nature of the ocean. Whatever thoughts arise do not deviate from the play of Dharma-nature. As it is said in the Jeweled Garland: "Unobstructed potential manifests in any way, from the moment of arising, it is liberated in its own place, there is no mere saying of liberation, therefore, what is not liberated?" And, from the moment of arising, it is self-liberated without relying on an antidote, like a snake knot. As it is said in the Refutation of Extremes: "The awareness of how it arises, is self-liberated like a snake knot." As it is said. Third, introducing the arising and abiding as non-dual: Although various thoughts arise from the non-conceptual state of mind, without acceptance or rejection, abandoning or adopting, it remains in its natural state, abiding without wavering in the state of Dharma-nature, and the self-potential of abiding arises without obstruction, therefore, the nature of arising and abiding is non-dual, just as waves arise in the ocean and subside into the nature of the ocean without distinction. However thoughts arise, they arise and dissolve spontaneously, not deviating from the state of Dharma-nature, therefore, it should be understood in this way. As it is said in the Marvelous: "Just as the waves of the ocean, all the moving waves of the mind, dissolve into the ocean of the primordial ground." And as it is said in the Doha: "As long as manifestations arise from the mind, that itself is the nature of the protector, are water and waves different?"
