Therefore, there is nothing certain in samsara. Furthermore, from the Great Perfection Mind Resting: Thinking about the karma of this world before and after, it increases sadness even more than sadness. All the bodies that have become ants and insects, if gathered together and piled up, would be higher than the four precious Mount Sumeru, and the tears of crying would be more than the four great oceans. When the mind becomes hell and hungry ghost, the molten copper juice, pus, blood, and impure substances that are drunk are more than the rivers that reach all directions. Likewise, others are like immeasurable space. The number of heads and limbs cut off for desire cannot be counted even with the dust of the world. Also, in the Sutra of Mindfulness, it says: Monks, be disgusted with the realm of existence! Why is that? In the beginningless cycle of existence, if the bodies that were born as ants and insects and discarded were gathered together and piled up, they would be higher than Mount Sumeru, the king of mountains, and the tears of crying would be more than the water of the four great oceans. When one becomes a hell being or a hungry ghost, the molten copper juice, blood, pus, and snot that one drinks countless times are more than the four great rivers that flow into the ocean from the four continents. The heads, eyes, limbs, and small limbs that are cut off for the sake of desire are also equal to the number of extremely fine particles of earth, water, fire, and wind in the world of the Ganges River sands. Also, in the Letter to a Friend, it says: Each one has drunk more milk than the four great oceans, but still each one follows the cycle of beings, and will drink even more than that. Each one's pile of bones is equal to Mount Sumeru, and so many times have passed. The beginning and end of the mother are like a rosary, and even if you count them all, you cannot exhaust the earth. Thus, because of the grasped and the grasper, when wandering in the dreamlike cycle of existence, the various situations of being drowned in the river of suffering are described. Omniscient Tsultrim Lodrö said: Alas, the end of the immeasurable cycle of existence, the suffering of beings exhausted on the path of existence, there is no happiness no matter where they are born, human
