It eliminates suffering. Thus it is said. With the virtue that causes liberation, one can transcend samsara and eliminate suffering, which is to have all the actions of the three doors be seized by the mind of enlightenment. As it is said in the Four Hundred: By thinking of a Bodhisattva, whether it is virtuous or even non-virtuous, everything will turn into virtue, because the mind has the power to control. And as it is said in the Guide to the Bodhisattva's Way of Life: From today onwards, even when falling asleep, or even if one becomes careless, the power of merit will constantly increase, as vast as the sky. And as it is said in the Treasury of Wish-Fulfilling Jewels: Whatever is well accomplished by beings who have entered the path of the three vehicles is to generate their respective minds of enlightenment, meditate on the four immeasurables, practice the six perfections, practice the Dharma of the aspects of enlightenment, and diligently increase virtue day and night. Thus it is said. A person who generates the intention to seek the path of a Hearer, and practices from the first mindfulness to the completion of the path, is a small person. One who enters the path of a Solitary Realizer is a medium person. Generating the mind of great vehicle and practicing the path is a great person. The three types of people generate their respective intentions, practice the thirty-seven dharmas of enlightenment, and diligently engage in virtuous deeds day and night, encompassed by the four immeasurables and the six perfections, and encompassed by dedication, are called virtues in accordance with liberation. The four immeasurables are: loving-kindness, wishing sentient beings to be happy and to be united with happiness; compassion, wishing those who are tormented by suffering to be free from it; joy, wishing those who are happy to never be separated from it; and equanimity, thinking of those who are near and far, attached and hateful, with an equal mind. The six perfections are: giving, giving one's own possessions to others without expecting anything in return; morality, abandoning the side of non-virtue; patience, not being angry at those who harm you; diligence, being enthusiastic about virtuous deeds; meditation, focusing the mind on one point; wisdom, understanding the meaning of the words of all dharmas. All of these are perfections when practiced in the state of appearance but without inherent existence. As it is said in the Sutra Requested by Kashyapa: Although abiding in the equality of selflessness and patience, one generates great compassion for sentient beings. Completely

Even when giving alms for the sake of benefit, there is no expectation for the maturation of karma. The mind constantly abides in peace, but its actions remain in samsara. Although realizing that all phenomena are empty, one still believes in the maturation of karma. Thus it is said. Therefore, whatever virtuous deeds are done, the preliminary practice is to generate Bodhicitta, the main practice is to realize the absence of inherent existence, and the subsequent practice is to dedicate the merit and make aspirations. Then it is in accordance with liberation. Moreover, the substance of wisdom that is obtained and not lost in Bodhicitta is compassion. The essence that is not perceived anywhere is emptiness. These two, the substance of wisdom is the same, but the reverse is the union of separate methods and wisdom, or the absence of object is emptiness. Becoming compassion without object, the two are of one taste, the union of inseparable essence, is what is believed. Furthermore, in the Treasury of Wish-Fulfilling Jewels it says: "All actions are solely for the benefit of others, the view is like the sky, the eighteen emptinesses, the meditation is clear light, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the conduct is flawless, the six perfections, the result is the attainment of unsurpassed enlightenment." As it is said. Now, to conclude the karma in two ways, first, it is necessary to summarize the way to reverse the cause and effect of samsara: all the places and happiness and suffering contained in the three realms and six realms, all the different phenomena that appear, all of these are the images that appear because of the habitual confusion established on the alaya. The cause of happiness in accordance with virtue and merit is born in the heavenly and human realms, and non-virtue is born in the three evil realms, which are the cause of suffering. Although the manifestations are different, they are all summarized into the manifestations of the six realms. All of these are called confused appearances, and it is impossible to be empty until the habits are exhausted. As it is said in the Mindfulness Sutra: "All that appears in the world arises from one's own karma." Like this. Therefore, it is necessary to abandon evil deeds. In the King of Samadhi it says: "Karma accumulated will never be destroyed, in samsara black and white fruits will ripen." Therefore, it is necessary to learn to abandon evil deeds properly. Never say that it is enough to realize one's own mind, and that the result of karma is not needed. As it is said in the Precious Garland: "Those who say there is no result of karma, in short, are nihilistic views, non-virtuous and fall into evil destinies." Therefore, it is like that.
