Even if there is only a nominal existence, there is no place that can cause harm, so it is emptiness. The essence of the Sugata, the Dharmakaya of the basis, is free from all places and masters of birth, therefore it is free from the extreme of birth; it transcends the time and master of cessation, therefore it is free from the extreme of cessation; it does not fall into the side of existence (being), and even the eyes of the Buddhas cannot see it, therefore it is free from the extreme of permanence; it has not become nothing at all, but has become the common basis of samsara and nirvana, therefore it is free from the extreme of annihilation; it transcends all places and masters of going, therefore it is free from the extreme of going; because the place and master of coming have not been established, Therefore, it is free from the extreme of coming. In the expanse of the basic Sugata-garbha, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana, like stars in the ocean, appear separately without being mixed, therefore it is free from the extreme of being of one meaning. No matter how the appearances of samsara and nirvana appear, just as the stars in the ocean are not different from the ocean, they become one taste in the basic Sugata-garbha itself, therefore it is free from the extreme of being different. Because it does not fall into any of these eight extremes of elaboration, it is emptiness, unpolluted by faults. Moreover, because it transcends above, below, directions, boundaries, intermediate and time, it is emptiness; because it pervades everything and is completely expanded, it is emptiness; because all external appearances do not have true characteristics and true existence, it is external emptiness; because the inner self-mind transcends all foundations and roots, it is inner emptiness; in between, because it does not distinguish between the two, grasper and grasped, it is great pervasive and unabandoned emptiness, which is the door of liberation, emptiness. The Dharmakaya of the basis, the Sugata-garbha, is free from the characteristics that can be expressed in words, transcends the equals of metaphors, and in terms of meaning, it is empty of the things that can be indicated, which is the door of liberation, signlessness. The Dharmata Sugata-garbha, the Sugata who has gone to bliss in the three times, if one thinks that merely through the virtuous actions of body and speech, the result will go to other lands and be liberated, then thinking that the pervasive and expansive space environment is the place and master of coming and going is extremely inverted and foolish. What is the path? It is to abide in one's own place on one's own ground; what is realization? It is to know one's own face and the true nature as it is; what is liberation? It is to become a Buddha in one's own face. Apart from this, if one clings to other places and realms of liberation and strives for them

To be attached to doing is extremely wrong. In reality, there should not be even a trace of expectation for the result, therefore the gate of liberation is without expectation. O young boy, master of intelligence, you will not be liberated merely by speaking and hearing in this way. Examine and investigate the nature of what has been spoken, let the experience emerge from the depths of your heart, make knowledge and wisdom firm in your mind, and then show it to the fortunate ones who are qualified. For those who practice single-mindedly, my mind-stream will be transferred, and they will obtain liberation without delay, this is certain. Saying this, he vanished into invisibility. Again, in the appearance of the clear light meditation, when I met the face of Manjushri, the Lion of Speech, I asked this: Alas, teacher, protector of the world, although it has been determined that all appearances of the container and its contents are nothing other than self-appearance, are the names of all the Buddhas and the existence of different pure lands established as independent entities, or are they not established? Please reveal this to me. After asking this, the teacher himself said: Alas, great being, you Listen. Based on the Dharmakaya of the ground, the inner radiance of the Sugata-garbha, the spontaneously accomplished jewel-like qualities, the Buddha-fields, the father and mother deities, and the palaces that are shown, the perfection of the ground itself is wisdom, and the establishment in another place is skillful means. The perfection of qualities in the ground itself is the ultimate truth, and the explanation of the existence of the container and its contents in another place is the conventional truth. Furthermore, the spontaneous body and the play of wisdom of the ground itself are the definitive meaning, and the explanation of the Buddha-fields and the names of the male and female deities in another place as things with characteristics are all provisional meanings. To explain the ultimate truth and the conventional truth in accordance with the gate of samsara is like this: The way in which all the victorious ones are bound by the vows of the five bodies is: All phenomena that include appearance, existence, samsara, and nirvana, the great nature that exists as the uncreated natural state in the great emptiness of the ground, is Dharma. From the inconceivable differences of realms, elements, and faculties, the entrance to the path, the experience of meditation, and the attainment of the result are also inconceivable, and what exists naturally is called the Body. The spontaneous body and the play of wisdom as enjoyment
